Actually the cannibals are not the russian government. It is implied in the story that the government never made it to Mount Yamantau, and the cannibals there are former engineers who were tasked to finish building the bunker

The way Sam arrives, kill the cannibals, blow up the elevator, blind doge an axe while spinning and kill the last enemy, saving Artyom. I was like "yea Sam, take my controller and finish this adventure XD"

For me, this was the most endearing game I've played. The characters were engaging, and losing any of them felt awful. The second location was my favorite; you can just lay back and have fun. Also, it's the only game I own that did a decent job implementing RTX. Thanks for the playthrough.

This part was among my favorites in Metro Exodus. After going through the Volga utilizing stealth when encountering the water tsar cultists, and stealthily maneuvering past enemies, while killing some in the way, I got to release my killing temptations fully on this cannibalistic cult at Yamantau. No repercussions here. Blast away!

From what I recall the Government is actually still in Moscow. The deal is though is that they were essentially trying to create some kind of fucked up enclosed isolated state that was convinced it alone was the survivor of the war and inorder to control it they created a war within the metro between the 4 factions. Polis, Hanza, Reich and Red Star, The leaders of all 4 were coopted by the Russian Government. In order to help aid in this the Russian government set up radio jammers and satellite comms jammers outside moscow to eliminate as much outside communication as possible.

This whole level was one of the more disturbing moments in gaming for me. Wondering the bunker and just finding siderooms full of feces and discarded human body parts was a big "nope" from me.

Man it should be mandatory to play Metro games in Russian. The dialogue really comes to life somehow it feels wrong and too exaggerated when it’s in English.

AFG dude I like your videos very good very professional but u probably didn't read those files that can be collected in game indicated that the government never arrive in that bunker along with food supplies, so these workers stucked in the bunker had no choice but lure any survivor and eat then alive

Sam is such a tactical fuckin beast. Didn’t miss a beat. Got that grenade in the elevator the second the doors started opening. This scene always gets me so pumped
