@brokenluciddream Because they have the Metallica syndrome. A band will abandon it's roots and develop a more generic sound to draw in the robot masses to get more famous and rich. It's really a sad thing. A band shouldn't have to compromise it's style just to become more popular. Support your local bands people! It's the least we can do to keep the scene alive.
