Its so sad that great men that shaped Yoruba history are not been recognized. If Ogboriefon had been an European, this place will be one of the tourist centre. Many sites in Ibadan and Yorubaland deserves to be protected as national/state monuments. Ogboriefon was the war commander that defeated the confederates of Fulani and some Yorubas near my hometown. Thank you so much Aji Abbas for your work.

Can you imagine the wickedness and barbarism! Humans buried alive and a baby killed and his blood shed! Was there nothing like conscience or human feelings then? And the children are saying it with no feelings of remorse! Who knows why some people suffer the fate that we see them suffer?

Can you imagine how barbaric some of our traditions were? 9 male and 7 female slaves buried alive and a new baby killed and his blood spilled unto the grave to bury someone bcos he was a great warrior! And some people would claim everything about colonialism was bad.

@@adefo But some of these wicked acts were not only restricted to Yorubas. My disgust is that someone is recalling this about their forefathers with no emotions or sense of remorse.
