It's literally like double the XP of any other method at the early levels and I highly recommend doing fruit stalls until you can do the fued and start blackjacking, then blackjack until 65, then check out my other video for summers garden, which is super AFK. Everything else is insanely slow AND click intensive anyways. If you want very afk then... just lamp it :)

You should also have 85 Farming, if you're not 85 farming you will have a decreased drop rate for ranarr seeds, snapdragon seeds and torstol seeds.

Kinda. As an example, Ranarrs are ~1/302 at 71 farming, but only ~1/290 at 85 farming. So 85 is optimal, but the difference between 71 and 85 isn't insurmountable, and it scales linearly (is that a word?) between 71 and 85, so every level helps a bit. I think I'd consider 71 a hard requirement, but not 85. Thanks for the comment though, I should have included this in the video & I'm sure it'll save some people the headache.

​@@wolfamongman2871 At the time I wrote that, there was a lot less data on seeds (in fact, I think some of the data came from my comments), but at this point we know the chance scales fairly linearly pre-71 despite Mod comments elsewhere, so you don't necessarily need high farming, however due to how fast the XP is, I still simply don't think it makes sense to do a click intensive method like this without optimal rates. If you're low farming on a main account, just start doing fruit tree runs with papayas (or the best fruit tree you can use). Its like 2-3K for the sapling, and you can plant it, then the next day check the health of it and you'll get 6k+ xp.

@@wolfamongman2871 Well, I can recommend what I did, because I don't enjoy farming, but I quested until ~27 or whatever for the apple tree? orange tree? whichever fruit is at 27, then did willow trees whenever possible. I did one tree run a day until ~62 farming, then bought garden pies from cooking guild for a +3 boost, put a battlefront teleport in my PoH (or you can use fairy rings) and used that to get to the farming guild to boost for medium contracts. From there, I started doing some herb runs to locations that were close to my teleports (explorers ring tele, ardy cape farm tele) for passive xp, kept up trees as much as possible, and rushed 74 for tithe farm, then grinded out tithe on my way to 82 to +3 boost for hard contracts, and from there you're basically set. Farming sucks, but as an iron you gotta do it :( If you're lower thieving, I did quests -> cakes for wintertodt -> silk -> quests -> fruit stalls -> quests -> the fued -> black jack until your wrists are dead, then pick between ardy knights (with ardy medium diary!), or pyramid plunder. the cash is good at knights and its low effort (but lot of clicking), and the xp & chance at a sceptre is good at plunder. or keep blackjacking, its fun :)

You can trap him in the Pig Pen behind the door. With some pigs in there you can easily leave him with 2 tiles to walk on, no despawn. You can then leave the Pig Pen, with the pigs still inside, walk out closing the gate behind you,. Then you can bank and come back.

You average just under 2 snape grass seeds per hard farming contract. You could swap it out for something else if you want, but I don't farm them unless I have a contract to do so, and in doing so, I've amassed almost a thousand snape grass seeds.

Thanks for the guide! I think you're better off putting the common allotment seeds in your seed box to clear up inventory space unless you really want those hop seeds. I don't know if hops are worth anything or not.

It doesn't really matter what goes in your seedbox vs inventory, all of those seeds are common enough that you'll get a drop relatively quickly. The only thing that matters is not putting super rare seeds in the seed box, like snaps, torstols, snape grass etc.

When I was making this video, no one approached me at all, and the vast majority of the time there was no one doing normal farmers, it was only bots if any. That being said, if you are concerned about noobs unintentionally crashing you, you can start by hopping around and finding a world where the farmer has pathed much further north or west away from the normal farmers wander range. This of course can't prevent a crash, but it should help limit your exposure to other players so they aren't tempted.

If so, that's massive! I'll have to give it a try again because if so that's a complete gamechanger. Also combined with (sorry ironmen, dont hurt me) the fact that snapdragons/torstols are so common from ToA/Muspah you can technically drop them if you get the super lucky drops so you never need to bank, that's massive.

@@FancyLife The farm run was pretty long, planting herbs, limpwurts, etc... after walking to the bank he would call the guards if i tried again so if you walk away you still need to wait the 15m. if you can stay there the whole time then you can just pickpocket away. I can test specific things if you got that in mind but both times i was able to stay longer than 30m, only getting interrupted due to walking away to bank.

Hey, on a main account the snapegrass is a very marginal increase in profits at the expense of making this less AFK. If you're keen to take it, you can replace another seed with it, but again, it'll be slightly less AFK. On an iron (which this account is), you get so many snape grass seeds via contracts, and similarly you get so many snape grass contracts, you end up with a need for neither the seed nor the item. If you do contracts and birdhouse runs at even a low to moderate rate, you'll also have enough tree seeds coming in that you'll quickly reach 82 farming for hard contracts, so you're not missing out on too much at all.

Snape grass is 1/260, Onions are ~1/7. The point is to fill your inventory with the most common seeds so they can fill into their placeholder in your inventory or seed box, meaning you don't need to drop nearly as often. With ironmen, snape grass seeds are very common from farming contracts, and with the average yield from each seed being absolutely insane, you get an excess of them very early on in the account.

You still can, and in fact I've heard this method may have even been buffed to allow longer amounts of time that the farmer is stuck staring at you. If there's no talk option, then you're either just trying to talk to a random farmer and not the one that gives you the cape as shown in the video, or you have a plugin to remove menu options. If there's a talk option but he won't stand and talk to you, it's because you were caught stealing from him.

It's 129K XP/hr, with ~22 ranarr seeds expected each hour. So 100 ranarr seeds would be just under 5 hours of mindless clicking.

Title says it is "new" method. It is really not "new". People have known this for a long time that 94 thieving and ardy hard diary gives you 100% chance of thieving master farmer succesfully.

This method is brand new, only being released a couple weeks before the video came out. Previously the meta was to try to trap a farmer in hosidius and angle your camera to try to be able to click all the farmers movement options, but you had to pay more attention as the farmer could move (and they can free themselves after 5 minutes) This method locks the farmer down for a significant amount of time and allows you to click blindly for minutes at a time.

If you're an iron, ardy hard diary is incredibly hard because you need to farm out shield left half from a drop and cannot just buy it. That's why a lot of irons don't have it early.

I don't think so. I'd estimate you probably have like 15 seconds of spam clicking at a time, compared to anywhere from 2 to 10 minutes with a seed box. I know Tithe farm has a bad rep, and maybe you've even tried it, but considering it's ~100k farming xp/hour, I think it's a good tradeoff for the click-intensiveness. Especially if you're a lower level iron and haven't yet hit 82 farming for hard contracts, then absolutely head to tithe.

Sadly not. But it's effectively the easiest pickpocketing in the game, and I'm fortunate enough to actually have a spare junk computer next to me. This means I can set up a standard footpedal (or a spare keyboard with every key bound to "mouseclick") and I can thieve like that which sometimes I forget I'm playing till I hear the inventory full sound. This is more of an interesting factoid than an actually useful training method due to the time you have to wait after thieving from the farmer. Remember that you can just go to Kourend and lure a master farmer into a house and you basically have an infinite afk training spot there without having to wait anything or taking breaks.

It's 1/260, one seed maximum, and 4k gold. The relatively low amount of them you'll get throughout the grind is worth it to have to bank less often, in my opinion. On an iron you'll get infinite amounts of snape grass seeds from contracts. On mains, you can keep but it's just more effort for relatively low gain.

@@FancyLife With Guardians Of The Rift out now, runecrafting isn't even bad in those early levels. You go from like level 1-30 just by doing the intro quest to the minigame. 30-65 would be much easier and beneficial to an account (Specially an Ironman) than just going for 99 thieving and gaining exp towards a skill that's already maxed out.

94 and diary is easier, but even still as the title suggests, this guide is catered towards end game ironmen who may opt to thieve for herblore levels and supplies (which is less of an issue now with ToA + Muspah) but still a very useful option. I know my iron is creeping up to 100 thieving and I'm not even 80 herblore yet.
