Interesting that the only 'AFK' part of the game named AFK Journey isn't even remotely that anymore. At no point this season have I AFK'd a stage, went from manually casting Odie every stage to manually casting Eironn every stage..

Lol, ironic isn't it? That is one of the many reasons I love this game. Yes, it is gacha. But the depth of strategy, the PVP elements, and the amount of things I can do in the game without being stamina-gated has won me over.

I've pretty much went full auto at this point with phraesto (p2, ex 20), talene (p2, ex 20), koko (p2, ex 20), smokey (p1, ex 20), and a flex hero... shakir/thoran/scarlita typically. Yeah, there are some stages that still require manual, but I've found the above team to be quite effective at just using auto.

It's annoying that all the tanks I built in preseason got pushed to the side because of the way high deficit scaling works. Antandra, Brutus and Granny are all designed around holding the frontline while the dps finished the fight. Now the dps heroes don't do any damage and it's all about repositioning around Smokey. 😔

Yes, it is a huge change. Tbh, I like that the optimal teams change every couple 100 floors, but I know that people with a limited hero roster and resources find this unpleasant.

idk why but my smokey always gets disabled or silenced sometimes and cant make full use of the blue aura. maybe because my smokey is only weapon +5

Yes, once you unlock Smokey's ex15, any enemy that enters the blue fog will be temporarily stunned, which improves smokey's survivability and makes him less likely to be interrupted

Yes, Phraesto is pretty chonky. I prefer Thoron over Phraesto for PVP though because Thoron serves as another win condition.
