I think a good idea is to defend with meta but to attack with counter-meta but that makes the whole thing double as expensive! Edit: I see that you also successfully defend with that team, that's actually huge

Yea they usually have to come up with a different team to win or a unique variation.

I noticed you switch bewteen confine and crescent(or whatever that AS relic is). Whats your reasoning on which to use?

Sometimes I choose based on the artifact they use. Or who is on the back line. Or if I need Vala to attack faster and hopefully get the kill easier. I also find if I know the fight is gonna last a bit longer then I'll take confining spell over awakening spell. It mostly comes down to knowing your opponents team and where ur team might need help.

@@browniegames865 Thank you, I love "off-meta" contents so im hoping to build this, will take me awhile since im f2p, but at least i have another goal lol. Any alternative to scarlita while i wait for her to get to M+? she's probably the one that will take the longest to build lol

​@@mustbescudhey so I misspoke and I use enlightenment artifact or confining spell. Not the awakening one. Also tho if your f2p, then this isn't the most friendly team to build. As in, some of the heroes best uses are way more pvp oriented. example being Seth, and silvina. U won't get as far in PvE stuff. But hey it's a game and you play however you want to. 😁

I found that Silvina is useful for messing up an enemy scarlita's landing and ult

The Wilder faction does not exist for me. I either never pull the hero in the case of Eironn or I dislike the hero like in Damians case. That said the biggest problem when facing the Eironn team is Thoran. I can selectively pick off supports or mages, but sometimes Thoran just hits that homerun and my team gets deleted.

Yea thoran is such a pain for melee units he just takes all ur damage and sends it right back in one hit. I hate it! I can't believe I forgot to talk about him but maybe he should be his own video.

Actually i use half Wilder Meta, its been working to me agaisnt any team. Losing only for big whales.

The whales have almost all the characters full built so it doesn't matter much which team you built

It’s laughable calling your team less invested when you are running an m+ scarlita. This video is irrelevant to 99.9% of the community who won’t have m+ cele/hypo for months, and when they do it will probably be reinier first for pve.

You realize what I was saying is that, if you build to counter what the meta teams are, than you may be able to find a counter team that takes less investment. Understand? I wasn't saying build this team exactly how I have it. I talked about my team, and the decisions I made about hero choice so maybe it helps some people with team building.

You missed the point, seemed like you just stopped watching after you saw the M+ scarlita lol. He said you can hang against highly invested meta teams with this team thats less invested. Of course you'll still have to invest but it will be less. I felt it was clearly stated lol

@@mustbescud I understand the point, but it feels disingenuous to say that when he only shows a team that is carried by Scarlita. Sure it's a different type of investment than ex weapons but it's actually a far higher investment of resources than the supposedly high investment meta team. You could buy more than enough weapon upgrades to ex everyone with the USD it takes to m+ Scarlita this early in the game. I clicked on the video looking for a Shakir team that can counter Eironn (since I've heard he is a good counter and I've pulled a lot of him), not a Scarlita team that happens to run Shakir.

@@GelatinGhostif u want a Shakir team then use Shakir, Antandra, Odie, Koko and Reiner(he doesn't require any investment at all to work so don't worry). The main point of this team is to position Reiner+Shakir so that Reiner can swap Shakir with 1 of the enemy's backline (priority the core units like Rowan Cecia Odie...) so that u can quickly turn the game into 5v4, while Shakir continues to massacre the backlines. If u had Seth at M+ then use him instead of Koko for quicker burst down low squishies and snowball the match.

​​​@@GelatinGhostscarlita is not even close to the key hero here. I can remove her for many different heros. I have videos of this team with different heroes in her place. The main reason I wanted to try her. Is because she gives a shield which sometimes helps Seth live most the fights are won before she comes down anyway. Koko does the same thing.
