Hey All, Welcome to another AFL Evolution 2 Video. Today I'm going to give you a bit of insight into the changes made to the Coach Career Mode, and given I worked on the game and was a big part of many of these changes, I can provide some explanations as to why these were made.

Would be a cool aspect to have the origin of where a player is from, with that player having more potential to go back to his home state Example a player from Essendon who is originally South Australian, will more likely come back to Adelaide or Port rather than West Coast or North Melbourne and vice versa Or other which might be a stretch is have retiring players go back to SANFL, VFL etc... for one season which could makes state leagues really fun to play a career at (and also the option to continue playing at a stage league team instead of going to the AFL)

I made a full Custom team called "Protestant Football Club: Reformers". It's contrived of 44 people I know in real life. They're old and American, as most of them are Christian Preachers. It's pretty hilarious. My family plays with me.

Are they going to have individual career stats for players? ie. so you can see how many goals a certain player has kicked in their career, how many games they’ve played and for which clubs, and if they have won medals or trophies?

I would like to see a little bit more realistic scoring from simulated matches. It’s not very satisfying to see the scoreline of your simulated matches being 3.7.25 - 2.10.22

Are you disappointed by the fact that in Career coach mode the crowds are sold out in a normal regular season game? unless its finals or Anzac Day etc it shouldnt be sold out. Past AFL games used to show empty seats, was more realistic

When drafting players, are you able to go through the u18 champs and Nab League to scout these players? Or do these draft pools have random players that don't even play in the u18's and nab league???

I wish they updated the way simulating matches works. kinda bothered me how all the matches were by a close margin. Would like to see a team 3rd on the ladder win by 30+ points to a team 17th, not 11 lol. Just something to make percentage matter/give fight for finals.

God these menus look so god damn un appealing, I understand there's like 3 developers and you guys have no money or time to make a decent game. But there's a reason I haven't bought an afl game since this first live. Itw because this shit looks and feels like I'm being forced to play a terrible 2001 ps1 game. There is so much you could do in the career mode, and you haven't capitalised on any of it, better luck next time I suppose

Question: Like in NBA 2k you can start a career by putting all the players In a draft pool and teams take it in turns choosing players out of the pool to build their team. Will AFL Evo 2 have a feature like this?

Love seeing out of contract players can be signed like that but I hope other teams can get your own players and the players message you for example Freo have offered me 390k, If you can't top that then I'll go and you have to make a decision. Also I hope the glitch last year with the draft isn't a thing, you could get the number 1 draft pick easy, not give a player demanding 400k plus put em in the draft and get them then you'd be able to draft them for like 40k

With the draft can you download or import real young players from the current u18's like 2k where fans can put up the players to be drafted and be downloaded? Also can you start career mode at the end of the last season so you can participate in last years draft, trading and free agency? Saw some player's rating needed to be fixed. Looks good though. Like all the fa, trades looking more realistic. Can you sign different assistant coaches etc.Also is there cpu/cpu trades? I like it, thanx for the tutorial.

why are players like bailey smith, gryan miers and those second year players all such low overall and put as delisted free agents at the end of the first season. Makes teams unrealistic because those players are the ones expected to be like stars of the future. Also, I think adding in the option to create draft classes and put them on fan hub then people can upload actual draft classes instead f using random names.

Hey Dean, with the Brownlow votes for each game being shown, could you ask if they could implement a table at the end of the year showing the total votes. Because the numbers obviously go somewhere to determine the winner so it would be great if we could see it.

Twistie3 yeah well I’ll end up making my own spreadsheet anyway for the Brownlow so it’s not the end of the world. But would’ve been nice to have a table. Anyway the game looks incredible both gameplay and feature wise, with coach career looking greatly improved with the draft looking literally perfect as far as player ratings and potential goes. Appreciate all the work you’ve put in Dean, we needed someone pushing them for a lot of these little changes and you’ve done a great job.
