Not a north fan but what a champion Harvey always was, one of my all time favourite players. Absolute disgrace that the coach sacked him and didn't let him retire on his own terms.

Agreed 100% his stats tell us that Harvey was playing still at his highest level! He could of played another 2 years at least , and boy did we miss his ability on the field, another very poor decision made by the coach , when it was the coach who needed to go at that time not some of the players he chose to sack! Harvey May well have been able to get close to 500 games that would never have been reached by anyone. What a champion he was for the club.

I am very late to this, but I agree with that 100% (not only saying that because I am a north fan) but just because he has spent 20 years at the one club, and what a player he was for North. And yeah he could have gone on for another 2 years or something, I mean like look at the shape he is still in at 43.
