Fuji 62s is by far the best splicer made all the new ones, you rely on the machine. Only plus to this splicer is to be able change clamp settings without replacing them. Saying that if you know what your doing you can stip a fibre with no issues with zr motor trouble. For speed i would recommend 62s

I have several Fujikura 90S splicing machines in my company, but four of them are giving the same error, i.e., 'No Electrodes.' I have replaced the electrodes and checked all possible solutions, including updating the firmware, but the error persists. Can you please advise on the possible root cause of this issue, as it seems unlikely that all four machines would experience the same error simultaneously?

I've got a new 90S+ and when I heatshrink the sleeve sticks to the heating element. What temperature and heating time should be setup if polyolefin shrinks at 80-120C?

Hi Sir, I use two cleaver when working with Fujikura 90s plus. One cleaver is CT-50 with wireless and second one is CT-30 without wireless. It's possible to set CT -50 on left or right side on Fujikura 90s ?

In the Fujikura 90S there is no more the button Arc, as was the case for the model 80S. Is there a way to send manually Arcs? I am asking because I want to taper down an optical fiber. The splicer is expecting two fibers, therefore I got the error "too long fibers", when actually I have just one. Nothing happens then. Thanks

Yes, you have to edit splice mode settings in regards to estimated loss threshold. Any value over this will allow for you to re-arc by pressing the button with the lightning icon present after error is shown

I'm with the same problem on the left clamp with my 90S There's a little pin that activates de funcion , when I click the pin on the left the machine bips but nothing on the right

Ecf is used when splicing fibre whose core is not concentrically aligned. If this is not on, the two fibres when core aligned and arced will result in cladding becoming aligned and core having a “step” ( there is a better term for this but can’t remember it). When on it prevents this natural line up of the cladding and allows the core to be aligned straighter however claddings will obviously be out of line. This results in less loss overall however will still have a big loss

I think this guy doesn't know how to do splice. End of heating he must to get splice tube out. If he known how to do splice he would use holders and other splice infos. I couldn't bear to watch it.
