Sir, in question where your answer is 870.12 even my % change in kd is same. How have you calculated the pv of portfolio? I simply took values of both the bonds and added because isn't the value of portfolio a sum of amount invested? And the subtracted the %change. I couldn't exactly get any answer and the closest that i could find to it was 1832.23

First of all the question didn't state the pv of dividend received at 4th year end but still if you interpret it like that as it was 4th year end then, dividends are received at year end only and 5th year dividend would have been received at year end only. So doing it wont make any good😅😅it has to be the 4th year end dividend

You’re taking Pv of 5th year today in year 0 if you take 6.99 Pv of 4th year today in year 0 is 6.53 only, karke dekhlo

@@guptajikeladke question pv “of” 4th year nahi poocha hai. Question pv “at” the end of 4th year poocha hai. Isiliye 5th year end ke div ko pv karoge toh pv at 4th year end aayega. English sahi se interpret karu toh waise hi samaj aaya mujhe. Pv of….pv at….dono lines mai phark hai. Nevermind. Ab kya hi kar sakte. But i tried placing my justification as to y i took such interpretation there.

They should stop shuffling the Q’s in mcq. Interpretation is going for a toss. Lekin unhe cheating bhi rokni hai. Bhale hi students galat interpret karke aa jaaye.

Easy tha but vo merger wale me cheating hogayi. Unhone bola maximum eps chaiye unko or number of shares wala question muje phele aaya tha. Is idea me i chose the least number of shares baaki saare correct he. 28/30

Only two Pv was possible 1. Dividend 2. Market Price Options were no were close to Pv of Market Price at the end of 4th year hence assumed that Its PV of 4th Year Dividend that the question is asking
