SSC and PC officer have the same salary, same increments and allowances, same lifestyle and same posting profile. There is no difference in anything at all. Till the time you are in army, you are an officer no matter PC or SSC.

All SSC candidates can apply for DNB or PG course after a minimum of 4 years of sevice.Not 7 years. If you opt for a PG course as an SSC candidate, you have to serve till 14 years of your service.If not you can opt to leave after 7 years or take an extension for another 7 years.
