Afnan Supremacy (Silver) Fragrance Review (2013)

A clone of Creed Aventus, very popular in community, so I thought I buy it and try it out. This is a middle eastern House and they haave many other fragrances. these bottles come in 100ml edp and prices around 40 USD. let's check it out

As others have said, being an owner of Creed Aventus I was beyond impressed with this fragrance and it’s actually lasts longer on my skin than my Aventus.

GSBOUT This one is not smokey. I have not smelled l’aventure so I can’t speak on that one. I’ve heard that there are some smokier clones but I can’t remember right now. But Dua Fragrances appears to have good clones of Aventus that match the Smokey batch

GSBOUT I’m going to do another video about Aventus soon and give my suggestions 2020. There are several “versions” of Aventus. I would suggest buying a decant of real Aventus. You can get many wearings out of it. And you will have a compass for judging clones.

Purchased this a few weeks ago. Very close in smell to Aventus. However, on me here in the UK it’s very weak. It doesn’t last long on my skin at all. Even after heavy spraying after about an hour it’s very faint on the skin. It doesn’t project at all! Very disappointing performance from Afnan. There’s no way this is an EDP compared to a company like Rasasi’s EDP’s. Nice review Joy but this scent is not one I would recommend. Interestingly here in the UK, Perfume Parlour do a ‘woody batch’ clone of Aventus which smells exactly like Afnan Supremacy Silver and Aventus but it projects really well.

@Simon Hall I totally agree with your comment toward Supremacy Silver. My bottle does not last and is very weak. Someone said that they smell a lite "ham" smell during the dry down. I'm starting to smell the same thing. Supremacy Silver is not one of my favorite clones so far.

Just bought this off ebay and it has a very strong smoke smell to it and i can barely smell any fruit notes. Is this how its supposed to smell?

Joy, you need to leave the cap off this one for a week to 10 days and then try it again. The opening gets stronger and it projects better. It is a dead ringer for Aventus IMHO. I love L'Aventure also. After a week with the cap off, Afnan is very similar but smoother. After the first 10 minutes, I can't tell the difference between either clone and my 2018 batch of Aventus. CDMIN is darker, smokier and stronger. It smell great, but nothing like my 2018 batch. I like to mix cdmin with L'aventure and/or Afnan in a decant bottle, 2:1 ratio of Afnan to CDMIN. It retains the smooth quality, but projects better, lasts longer and has a little more of that birch smokiness in the dry down.

Two and a half years ago I bought it in Parksons and the amount of compliments I hand was unbelievably fantastic....it has been my signature scent.i have never heard of Creed Aventus and when I encounter with foreign guests they would ask me if I was wearing Creed Aventus. I said no and they were amazed.. I work in the Hotel in KL....

The projection/performance is lacking in afnan supremacy, need an intense version. Also the last cdim I got was more opening less base than in the past. Like they increased the worst part and decreased the best part of the fragrance.

This costs 35 euro in Greece...CDNIM costs 30..which would you pick up as your 1st aventus clone having smelled them both..I have zara's vibrant leather but that's way too light and airy..my love from Greece!

I would actually say Afnan in my opinion, on both ends. I own Afnan, L'aventure, CDNIM, Zara Vibrant leather & Rich leather etc etc !!! Afnan is solid, more of a fruity batch of Aventus

I had some issues with club de nuit intense man, it didn't smell like aventus to me. I had a decant of one of the more fruity batches of Aventus and I'm hoping this resembles that in some way. All I'm really looking for is for it to be less harsh, CDNIM had this abrasive, metallic, almost chemical presence when I wore it and I can't stand it. I'm hoping this one will be a bit smoother and creamier like you described. At less than $30 shipped where I'm from it's blind buy worthy. Thanks for the review Joy! You always cover some of the most underrated fragrances out there. Huge fan, I'll definitely give this one a try.

I own both cdnim and afnan silver. I will say if you experience metallic smell from cdnim, it's best to spray it on clothes or jacket. The dry down will less harsh, and the next day it would be fantastic. Afnan is just weak in longevity

@@rentedduckliing 2 years later and its still holding its own! I think Mont Blanc Explorer has taken the cake as the best affordable Aventus clone, but honestly I've moved on from Aventus. Just not the best DNA for me, I'm into much boozier, creamy scents now as they suit my style and the longevity is much better.

How many sprays should I be using? I sprayed 4 sprays and I can hardly smell it after 45 mins, I have to bury my nose in my arm to even smell it

Same story my way. I have two bottles of Supremacy Silver from two different vendors. They both perform the same. It smells very nice at first. Then after 45 minutes, you can barely smell it. It becomes a very lite skin scent. I also smell a lite "ham" smell when it dries down. Supremacy is not my favorite at this time.

This stuff is crap and you’re dishonest as hell for pushing it for whatever pittance they paid you. I’ve smelled quality fragrance and although I’m new my nose is keen enough to discern the wheat from the chaff. There’s no way I’m just leaving the top of the bottle, sticking it in the fridge or putting this abomination anywhere near me. Disgusting.

No. i have it and untrained nose will tell that this is aventus. (Based on the aventus that they smell daily, and when they smell afnan, they think it is aventus). But for me, cdnim is more potent and nicer in term of smell and performance, regardless of which is best clone or anything.
