Many Thanks for superb and detailed review👏 . I bought Noir D'Arabie and it's stunning, I love the way the ingredients are mixed. I also have Arabian Tonka which I also love. For me, Noir D'Arabie has excellent longevity and projection. With too many sprays the projection of Arabian Tonka reaches far away galaxies LOL😄

I finally managed to get sample of this and it was love on first spray so thank you for recommending it, I will certainly get full bottle soon. Today, I'm on vacation taking it easy, sleeping enough. Spraying 5 careful sprays of this around 9 am, now it's 10 hours later, I was sitting outside and wind bringing me occasionally wiff of my own perfume. So it's certainly strong enough and long lasting enough for my needs. And smells so good. I added a bit of Burberry her in the morning, but can't smell anything of it. Only whiffs of noir d'arabie.

I think I sprayed it couple days ago on mu skin. Looks like I got it on my sweater after, even though I waited to put it on. I don't spray straight to the sweater since I don't want to wash it unless I absolutely have to.now it's been windy day here and I keep getting whiffs of the scent on and off. I know I've not added it for 48 hours, but it looks like my sweater will be smelling of it forever. At least I love the smell.

It indeed is very similar to Arabians Tonka. 💖 It shares the same dirtiness (I don’t know how to describe it properly). It reminds me for some weird reason the times when I used to ride horses. The stable, the smell of saddles and horses and beautiful moments. 🥹 It’s silly, especially that there is no leather note, but I don’t really care… It’s just so special. 😩🤍 I love Noir d’Arabie. It is so sugary, so enjoyable. It’s not a beast on me, but you can’t really expect that from a cheapie, can you?🌠
@AFragrantGlance Жыл бұрын
It's so interesting you said horse riding but I can definitely see why, I think it might be the oud accord you smell there. My best friend who is not familiar with oud or heavy middle eastern fragrances whenever I give her an oud based fragrance to smell (from lighter ouds to heavy ouds) she either said it smells like very strong amonia or horse stables, some remind her as well of the times she used to go horse riding, it's so interesting you pointed that out as well! 🌠 I'm so happy to hear you love it my dear!! 🥰 It truly is a stunning fragrances and this winter you can wear it with so many other fragrances layered, it will just add that extra something to all of them. Thank you for watching! 🌹❤️

Hi, Just bumped into your video because I wanted an opinion about NOIR D'ARABIE and I also have a few questions about it : Who do you think this Frag is leaning more to - Men or Women ? or its unisex and both can wear it ? What kind of weather its more suitable for ? What kind of demographics can wear it - 25 and down or 30 and up ? What occasions would you say its most suitable for ? daily use ? Job/office ? Corp/family event(birthday, wedding etc) ? date night ? going out with the boys ? maybe to the holidays with the family ? Thank you
@AFragrantGlance10 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching! ❤️ The answers to these question will differ from person to person, what might work for one might not work for others. Fragrances are subjective so I can only tell you how I feel about the scent, you might have a very different experience with the fragrance depending on how you look at fragrances and your general taste. To me it's a perfect unisex - I wear it and I love it, a man could easily wear it as well if he enjoys darker fragrances with a sweet edge. I wear it all year round even on summer days and I love it, some people might find it more suitable for cold weather. As for occasions, I choose fragrances based on my mood and how I feel, I wore it anywhere from doing the groceries to birthday parties, nights out, walks in the park, I find it ultra versatile for my taste, the scent overall feels bold, unapologetic and it stands out. I feel like it's best to get a decant and see how you feel about the fragrance and what it tells to you. 💫

Please does this smell similar to Tom ford noir de noir / club de nuit intense woman ?
@AFragrantGlance7 ай бұрын
Looking at the heart and base notes it might look similar but they're two very different scent profiles to my nose - Noir de Noir is much darker, deeper, less sweet and timeless (it's all about a beautiful earthy rose with green pathchouli hints) while Arabians Tonka feels modern, artificial smelling (but in a good way for me) and very sugary sweet, it feels as if all the other notes are covered in this beautiful thick sweet sugary coating. I would reach for them in different situations, Noir de Noir & CDN for Women feel mysterious, elegant and seductive while Arabians Tonka feels very bold and opulent. Thank you for watching 🤗🌹

@@AFragrantGlance we've both tested AT. My daughter loves it but, I find all Montale/Mancera that I've tried to be obnoxiously cloying with the same background dna that just smells like overly synthetic syrup that I grow tired of quickly. @AFragrantGlanceАй бұрын
Thank you for watching! 🤗 It's hard to say which one I would recommend, both are very beautiful and both are strong and well done, I'd say get which ever you can find for a better price locally. Noir d'Arabie feels a tad darker and the oakmoss is more pronounced but the sugary accord shines just as beautiful. Secret Musk has an added chocolatey like facet that makes the sweet accord feel a tad more diverse and the oakmoss acts there more like a subtle facet (doesn't add as much darkness), these are the main differences I've noticed but besides these, they pretty much smell the same to me.

Hello, I have always been curious about this scent, but I heard it was compared to a sweeter version of Oud for Glory. Would you agree with that? Zimaya has a Taraf Black scent, does anyone know if it is similar to Arabians Tonka?
@AFragrantGlance Жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching dear! 🌹❤️ I have Bade'e al Oud by Lattafa and I see why some might find them similar (they both share a molecular green nuance - oakmoss here and a deep aromatic grounding patchouli in Bade'e al Oudh) but that's about it to my nose, they're different scent wise, Bade'e al Oudh goes much colder, much woodier without any trace of sweetness where as Arabians Tonka and Noir d'Arabie are ultra sugary and sweet and that green nuance is more of a facet not the main note, much sweeter, more warm and definitely more easy to wear for me. If you're interested in it perhaps get a sample first to test it and see how you feel about it yourself. 🤗
@lw6920 Жыл бұрын
I got this because I love the montale version. I sprayed noir d arabie on a tester paper about 5-6 sprays and it smelled wonderful. I left my room room for about 5 minutes and when I came back into My room I walkrd into this weird I don't know how to explain it, something that smelled like a dusty funk. Do you get that and if so, do you know what it is? Alcohol, oud maybe? Its weird because I don't smell the funk on the tester or my skin and clothes It actually smells amazing. Its just the funk in the air and scent trail. Its not pleasant at all. Please let me know if you experience this and if you know whats the cause of this. Thank you
@AFragrantGlance Жыл бұрын
This is so interesting, I personally haven't noticed this aspect with Noir d'Arabie (I also haven't noticed it with Arabians Tonka). The funk can definitely be from the oudh accord used but it's interesting you only get it in the sillage not on skin and/or clothes. Perhaps let it sit for a bit and then try it again to see if it has changed or if your nose still picks it up. Someone mentioned they get a slight dirty/ horse stable like nuance (but very soft) in Noir d'Arabie and that's the oud accord for sure, certain ouds can have this facet. I don't pick up the funk, to me it smells just like a very rich woody accord. Thank you for watching and for sharing your experience with the fragrance, let me know if it improves. ❤️✨️

The problem with PARIS CORNER is they are not tested by any independent authority that is why so any people have bad skin reactions to their products. No one knows the harmful chemicals they have. I personally have had no reactions but so many do have problems including breathing problems, rashes etc
@misssunnydee Жыл бұрын
Do they? This is the very first time I've heard anything about this, and I'm not new to Middle Eastern fragrances. And I follow plenty UAE KZbinrs on top of European/American etc who aren't exactly holding their tongue. So it's strange this has never come up. My own experience with them is really great. Granted, I've not tested their entire portfolio, but I do have a decent amount of decants and full bottles. Never any issue. And with me that's worth noting as I'm a walking advertisement for contact dermatitis, especially for perfume. There are several perfumes (designer) I can't wear because I get a rash, or even burns. Anyway... I always like to learn and read about things like this. Just out of interest, but also because it is important. So, do you have any sources about their lack of being checked, why not. Sources about the customer complaints etc. And of course, which brands àre 'safe'. As in, being tested. Thanks! (Fair warning: KZbin won't allow links in the comments, so you'll need to write them out).
@jayromasanta807211 ай бұрын
Paris Corner is based in the UAE. based on my experience from being born and living here in the past 30 years, the health authority are pretty strict with products produced here, I grew up with super sensitive skin with contact dermatitis and the fragrances that I've tried made in this country/region never gave me any rashes.
@AFragrantGlance10 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching! ❤️ I can't say I know much about who runs their tests but from what I know, to be able to legally sell products that come in contact with skin here in the EU, there has to be proper tests done. They're very well known in the middle east so I don't think they would risk playing with the safety of their ingredients when they sell and distribute worldwide. Some people can be allergic to certain ingredients used, but this can happen with many brands, for instance I have a sensitivity to ginger in products, Instant Crush in warm weather irritates my skin a bit, as well as anything else too heavy on ginger. I never experienced such serious problems from fragrances but I can't deny that some might, depending on their health state and other issues they might have, but this can happen with various scented products not just from Paris Corner, as fragrance itself is considered allergenic and people who have different health issues should always test them prior.
@misssunnydee10 ай бұрын
@AFragrantGlance That's a very good point! I asked for proof because I was so surprised, but stupidly forgot about the fact they are freely available around European Union; the area known for the strictest rules concerning both fragrances and makeup. So they must have at least handed over ingrediënt lists that could be confirmed by independent organisations otherwise they wouldn't be able to sell here. And indeed: perfume is allergenic by nature. The majority of fragrances contain "The 27", a list of allergens that cause reactions in a large % of people. Linalool, geraniol, and the likes. They should be on the package or on a website, at least in my country ( NL). Only Louis Widmer, a Swiss skincare company, created a fragrance line a few years back that is "27 free". I own the purple bottle (it is a line consisting just 3 fragrances, with a freshie - yellow - a sweet floral - pink - and a sweet, heavier - purple - one. Forgot the name unfortunately, but the perfumes are nice and ideal for summer, when most of us who get rashes quickly, get them even faster due to heat and sweat etc. Anyway, I'll gladly keep using Paris Corner, but using perfume is aways at your own risk. Taking breaks every now and then is always smart. It will prevent anosmia and lessens the chance for contact dermatitis. If you DO get a reaction, best to quit that specific perfume altogether and stop others until you have clean skin again. One allergy can often lead to another. Also try to see if there are ingredients you respond to negatively and check if they are in any new perfumes on your wishlists. Best not to buy those.
@queenofstitcheswarrior26688 ай бұрын
It’s not the chemicals it’s the icky essential oils in it in combination with high % Alcohol Denat, which makes them penetrate and irritate the skin even more. I don’t use them on skin it causes dermatitis overtime.
