This video really touches me deeply in my time of trouble I truly want to please only God and get over my feelings of anxiety and questioning what others think of me and live for Jesus because he laid down his life so my sins could be forgiven which is the ultimate gift that no one on this earth can provide. I have wrestled with this and have thought that i have overcome this pleasing others issue, but I am realising that I do hold pieces of my faith and Jesus back. It even causes me trouble now on how to share Jesus with love all of the time, instead I try to win arguments and not just leave with humility or not stepping on someones soul-toes(being too nice) when they need to hear Jesus. But now I will live in obedience and in judgment of Christ and not the world. I hope others who struggle with this will make this change consciously so they can help Jesus change others!

I so enjoy Craig. He gets to the bones of everything!! You can’t please all the people all the time, but…..I can please my God!,,,, when I was young, pleasing and saying yes to “everything was so important to me. What I found was that people used me as a doormat because well “she’ll do it”! What I realized that as I got older was to learn the word “no” really existed and it’s ok to say NO, I do fall short everyday, but everyday I try harder to please and glorify my Father in Heaven!

As a retired Army veteran it took me about 17/18 yrs into my military career to have a whole new perspective & realized how insignificant & exhausting people pleasing is. I was never a person that cared or put much significance about what people thought of me as I always was wanting to work hard, grow as a leader & let those positive results speak for themselves. At some point I also realized that I was telling myself that I was doing what God's plan was but it wasn't and I would struggle.
