I retired four years ago at 55 and I haven't had to dip into any of my savings or retirement money. I would like to know what is the best way to start withdrawing my money so I can minimize my RMDs.

Spending on travel while you are still young is very important for a single person like her.

The suggestions were helpful. Additional information about IRMAA and how her distributions will impact her medicare costs. A tax adviser would be very helpful.

Best advice I heard about the fear of spending your retirement money: Either spend money on yourself or charities....or donate the money to politicians you love *AND* hate.

Anyone with a seven figure retirement fund should be paying an advisor not getting free advise.

Not true you can self educate yourself and manage your own accounts. Why pay someone ~1% AuM fees.

I would agree with a hourly fee advisor. Not some bullshit 1% aum.

@@bigtoeknee11My wife and I each have 7 figure funds. To imagine paying 1% annual fees (on top of potential losses) for the past 20-24 years, and no guarantee it would outperform index funds 🤔

Katie: your recent comments seem to be about rich people bragging and wanting free advice. Why do you still watch this channel and commenting? Dave Ramsey giving advice to BROKE folks is available that might fit your desire.
