Quick aside about the promo at the beginning of this clip: I remember hearing "Roar" from the very first ever VODs of competitive SC2 every opening as the casters would introduce the matchup. It was quite a treat, and then it got shifted to a nondescript rock instrumental. Speculation was that there was a licensing issue. Hearing it again was quite a nostalgic throwback.

TY and innovation are certainly able to trade matches with Maru in TvT. Maru is only marginally better than Rogue, Dark and Soo, so he could certainly lose to them as well.

@@Akash_ACash Based on blizzcon performance Serral has been shown to be able to beat the best of zergs in Korea, and just about every protoss that matters. I'm not really convinced that Serral can win a BoX series against Maru, Innovation or TY. It's basically a 50/50 chance that he takes the series imo.

Maru is a god player so he unless he face other god players or his bane sOs (who is pretty good reading his game) he is most likely going to win even if the balance sucks at some degree. He also had some luck in this Match managing to spot what HerO was planing to do which always help a lot.

Game 2 was ridiculous. Maru just casually walks across the map, through two stasis wards and blink stalkers, and still smashes face. The cam goes to the players before the GG and Maru just looks bored.
