INnoVation has always been the guy to just have "the build" that he'll use over and over, with slight variations in execution. His ability to adapt is what makes him terrifying. I loved seeing this build, made it look unbeatable!

You dont even realize how much variations he used in his different 2 base builds. You might not have the tools yet to understand where the innovation is. I see your comment as being as stupid as if a lower player than you came to you and said "its boring he plays same race every game".his 2 bases timings, adaptations, macro/micro instant switches, are crazy, he fools his opponenet every game with an other build variation and thats why he deserves his name.

@@Eraz0rZ good point but he can add more variety to his units and hopefully it throws inno bit off in decision making. i mean that last game if he could get good nova shots he may be able to hold on a bit. but the main thing im addressing is 5 games, same starters vs inno and stats didnt even try different approach. its like trying same thing over and over again hoping different results, game 2 kinda lucky inno messed his timing here and there

Stats is a better player than you. He considered it, and decided it was a dumb strategy. Difference between you and him is, Stats knows what he's doing.

@@LieMintPyon Maybe he understands that the issue is clearing the marines first because they are in such large numbers. You cannot swipe all the marines with a disruptor neither can you do any true damage with storm when there are that many marauders. The only consistant AoE damage from protoss is the collosus. It doesnt require a recharge like disruptor do or energy regen like templar do they can constantly aoe swipe. He basically built the best composition he thought could work versus that timing. His biggest issue was dealing with the raven. Techpath wise the build innovation kept allinning with is just highly in favour of the terran. hence why he can just keep doing it. (its a lil like immortal sentry vs Z) cost for cost terran is always ahead wich forces protoss to quickly get a third and outupgrade. Wich in turn gives terran this allin timing where they have 40/50+ more supply then protoss. Also you have to identify wich exact timing he is hitting. And innovation used variations. some delayed with a drop, some super early. The super early 2 base allins worked the best versus stats because stats likes to make too many stalkers. It sets him up for a later push in wich he can 1 shot tanks and deny medivac harrass with the stalkers. But early pushes he just doesnt have the resources to be on par with terran production because stalkers are so nimble and expensive. If he made 8 stalkers tops at the start he can hold the earliest wave. but then the drop timing allin that comes just a few moments later cant be defended. Sniping the raven is top priority if you overmake stalkers. But just like stats innovation knew this aswell. You cannot blink into the terran if he has that many marauders. And position wise you can see innovation is maneauvering his raven to be able to bait stalkers into a grindmill. But also to hit collosi when they move forward.

And yes it annoys me terran can basically win with doing the same allin over and over again. Then press 2 buttons to deny collosi and he autowins. Takes mechanical skill out of the game and forces more on build order wins. Wich is basically coinflipping. Either he hits later or he hits earlier. Both have different counters and you basically have to guess due to no detection early on cuz of the ravens detection denying observers. The hardcounter to this build btw is 2 base techrush 3 collisi And storm/feedback for raven. The problem is as ive mentioned earlier if terran doesnt commit. he has a huge economic advantage in wich he can just build mass viking/ghost and still have a bigger MMM army then protoss with wich he can keep denying a third.

Well played by Inno. IMO Terran 2-base all-ins vs Protoss need a small nerf. What I would do is increase Interference Matrix's energy cost from 50 to 75. Incidentally, this would also fix TvT, which is very static right now. However Terran should also get a late-game buff versus Protoss. Then we might stop seeing 2-base all-ins almost every game in TvP.
