I fell hard for jazz in the summer of 1967, JUST when Trane died......so, I grew up in New York having to deal with his SONS like Shepp and Pharoah, Carlos Garnett, Gary Bartz and so many others.......I saw Shepp play at The East in Brooklyn one night in front of about 15 people at 2:00 in the morning.......a half hour soprano sax solo that raised the hairs up on my neck........this guy was smoking !!!!

das wurde aber auch langsam Zeit...... endlich etwas auf youtube von der hr Bigband sehen und hören zu können,vor allem für uns "Nordhessen", die nicht so viel Gelegenheit haben, zu life Konzerten zu gehen. mehr davon, nicht nur das Jazzfestival sollte als Video aufgezeichnet werden
