So nice to see my local zoo get the attention it deserves! The reson why none of the birds were out is because of the high risk of avian influenza... but now all of the aves are back out... including 2 newcomers. Ducatel, the saddle-billed stork in the kudu habitat, and Ethel, the marabou stork in the giraffe habitat.

I did see some birds when I visited, glad they're all back out now! I really like direction the zoo is going with some of their newer additions, the rhino, giraffes etc. Also fun fact: Ethel came from my home zoo, Binder Park, where she was born a couple years ago!
