I had no idea that you based the hippos underwater viewing habitat off of Fort Worth Zoo, but now that you mention it, it looks really similiar, I live about an hour away from Fort Worth Zoo, and they have some amazing habitats. Consider researching their multi species rock dome thing they made, which is like an aviary but made out of rocks with a little bit of a skylight, so people feel like they're in a cave almost. They incorporated a lot of small exhibits species spiraling along the sides of the dome, and a huge centerpiece with beautiful peacocks, and lots of good vista points! Maybe even go there once!

My next zoo will be a wildlife reserve based around the Triglav National Park in Slovenia. It’s going to be my most detailed zoo and I’ve planned it all out already. It’s probably going to take a long time to finish but some of your tips and builds (which I will take inspiration from (; ) will certainly help out a lot. Africa looks amazing. I do also like how technically pretty much the entire center line of your zoo is Africa, from Greater Flamingos to an all African desert area to Africa itself. Was that always planned or a happy accident?

A bit of both. Africa was always going to where it is now, the desert house came about because of the arid animal pack but once I decided to build it I put it there to create the effect we have now.

As a person who speaks Dutch, I can tell you this for a fact: The 'ij' sound in 'Blijdorp' is pretty much the 'a' sound in the American 'dance, hat, man'. If you wanna pronounce it as close as you can, that's an easy way to remember.

Sooo... VR tour of the zo when...? I'll pay actual money 😂 As for giraffe feeding stations, while it's not quite the same, I have found that you can put the feeder enrichment item for giraffes right up to the path and still have them eat from it (as long as the null barrier is stretched a little out on the path). I made my own "feeding platform" like that, and just imagine that it's the guests that refills the branches in the feeder, rather than the staff... 😅 When I checked the guests viewing it I came across a new thought I haven't seen, something like "this is like the best show in town!" kind of thing
