"Escape the hustle of Lagos to immerse yourself in the ancestral Nigerian culture" is a video about you taking your bike on a Sunday morning, in LAGOS NIGERIA the biggest mega-city of Africa to escape the chaos for a while and breath some fresh air in a small village on the coast of the Atlantic Sea in Africa . After a drive on the lekki express way and on different secondary roads in ibeju lekki free zone, you'll arrive your destination. The contrast will strike you at the second you'll step down of the motorcycle.
Life inside the community of this small village has a very different taste compare to the life in the biggest mega-city of Africa. You'll spend few hours with the fishermen and their families to discover their traditions and observe the way they fish on Sundays.
THANKS ONCE MORE FOR YOUR SUPPORT !
I really hope you will enjoy diving into Nigerian culture while going for this escape drive
Please give it a thumb up and tell me what you think about African and Nigerian culture in the comments.

From the songs, I think the fishing communities are “ Egu “ or Fon. Fon are minority ethnicity in Lagos. They are predominantly a major ethnicity in Benin republic and Togo. They are also the predominant ethnicity in Badagry. In fact, the Oba of Badagry is of Egu. They have been living side by side with the Awori- Yoruba ethnicity since the Dahomey- Oyo empire. They mostly practice African ancestry spirituality. Although some are of religious faiths.

Bonjour Ludo! How are you doing today? Been waiting for a new (motorcycle) video. Maybe that trip from Lagos to Abuja would be a good idea, though I understand that you have to film on your free time so these things take time. A question: about the sandy beaches near Lagos, how many of them are public? "Free zone" suggests it's public. Hopefully, most of the other beaches haven't been privatized. If this is the case, it's wrong if you ask me. Either way, was my 2nd time I watched this video and enjoyed it as much as the first time. Hope all is well with you! Te mando muchos abrazos 💜 (I'm half-Venezuelan, half-Finnish, born and raised in Maracaibo that is a very hot city). Now living in Phoenix AZ, but gonna move back to Finland before Christmas. I miss the safety of that country. Here in Phoenix, you have pay for the safety. All the best. Ciao! 👋💕

Love these videos. Your concept is spot on! It would be good if you can do a moving map in the bottom corner so that we can know exactly where you are. Cheers!
@Ludo_Liu
@Ludo_Liu 3 жыл бұрын
I wish i could do this moving map, it it would be dozens of hours of work, and i am not sure i can manage to do such things. it would requiered to work on after effects to do some animation, this is really really long and time consuming. last time i worked on an animation on after effect, it was for a 8 seconds intro for one of my drone video on the other channel. it took me 14 hours work, and 15 hour encoding it... but yes that's a brillant idea. I will try to add more maps in the next videos !
@dedeog1
@dedeog1 3 жыл бұрын
@@Ludo_Liu what about inserting a picture of your position on the map - especially at key points like when you turn.
@dedeog1
@dedeog1 3 жыл бұрын
OR...do a screen recording of google maps as you ride and then time sync? But, The simplest way is to put a picture insert of the map in the lower right corner and highlight the road your driving on. That way, it will not be a moving animation. Keep up the good work and keep it simple! It’s is such a genius concept. I’ve been telling all my friends about it. I cannot believe that I sat and watched the video for 1 hour plus! That right there is the greatest credit I can give you. It shows that you have my attention. Lastly, be consistent with your posting. Whatever timetable you choose (once a week, once every 2 weeks, once a month), be VERY consistent. If you say you’re going to post a by a certain date, be sure to do it at all cost OR post something that says there will be a delay. This is the only way that we will be able to refer your work to others. Good work. Good luck.

Thanks. Really nice journeying beyond Lekki, and very informative. The proposed plans sound good, and I hope that in establishing a Lekki Airport, the Murtala MIA doesn't go down the drain alongside a further disparity and neglect of Lagos Mainland. My issue has always been that we focus on quantity over quality. MMIA is still not at the level it can and should be, so I'm a bit "hmmm" 🤷🏾‍♀️ about a Lekki Airport which though a good idea, will serve to widen the disparity. I'm a beach person, so really enjoyed that part (couldn't work out the language they were singing in, & defo not Yoruba🤔). Already picturing beach resorts close to the beach itself like Tarkwa Bay was in the 70s to mid 90s, & as you get in Cape Verde, The Gambia, Zanzibar, Mauritius, Tunisia, Egypt etc. 👏🏾🙏🏾
