Unfortunately, there has been opposition to this endeavor from countries like Egypt and certain other African nations. It is quite surprising to consider that even nations that were once colonizers themselves are opposing Ethiopia's quest for sea access. This is in contrast to some African countries, such as Egypt. Despite these challenges, Ethiopia has managed to resist the grip of colonialism and remains resolute in its pursuit. It is rather ironic to think that numerous countries from far distances have been able to establish ports in various parts of Africa, while Ethiopia, being a mere 60 miles away from the sea, finds itself landlocked. This raises perplexing questions as to why some black African nations would oppose Ethiopia's desire for sea access through Somali land.

Mr. PLO Lumumba trying to put BRICS country in the same basket with Africa's former and present colonial powers. That is wrong. Africa has resources, but does not have a strong industrial and educational base. The best option is work with BRICS( they already show that they are friendly partners) on development...But, there is much bigger problem...look what Ruto is doing. He sold Kenya to NATO. He wants to send Kenya troops in Haiti to help the USA to recolonize them. He signed an agreement to join the fight against Yemen . He is selling Kenyan people in new way of slavery. People like he is are the biggest threat to Africa's future. What will Africa do to stop people like Ruto?
