I still remember that August day when I came home and saw my mom had been crying.. when I learned the reason I still remember the instantaneous shock and deep felt sorrow at the thought.. just trying to take it in - the fact that Elvis..Elvis Presley was gone!😫 My mom and I just hugged each other and cried...😭

@Charlton Jones His mother and the army, he was started on uppers and downers for guard duty. His mother was a heavy drinker, and more so when he took off and hardly ever at home. She drank herself to death, sclerosis of the liver aged 46. He had an addictive nature too, prescription drugs, couldn't stop, rehab at least twice undercover. He was such a beautiful man inside and out. So so very 😥.

What an awesome experience that would be, to hear The King for the first time at her age, almost makes me wish I could hear him for the first time again. Almost!-but not really, because then I would miss out on all the memories I have of listening to him but if you change the atmosphere you’re in and listen somewhere in your mind, you haven’t before, it can be like a new experience.

The best concert I think that I that I saw when I saw them live three times they were all good are you couldn’t be him on stage I saw him once in Buffalo New York April 5, 1972 twice in Vegas because I know no the owners of the Cesar palace of the time so I can go whenever I want to go over to the other international end but the best concert was a Hawaiian concert they gave around the world in 1973 or 1 billion people watched
