Hi, new subscriber here. This is the type of designing that I plan on having my sister do for me at our recently purchased house. My cousin has this style happening at both of her houses and I think it looks amazing. Such a bold beautiful make me feel so comfortable in my roots decor that I feel no other can compare.

Is the paisley pillow really African? It looks Asian to me. India or somewhere near there?

It really is it just shows how diverse textiles can be and the inspiration behind it.

African. I remember my Nigerian grandmother's generation wearing it. However, it is very similar to Asian designs as there is an Asian influence (Java, Indonesia) to some ankara patterns.
