@julietbwalya23444 ай бұрын
@Vee64917 you seem very dull. So if he knew about climate change why did he go on selling power instead of reserving water? You think in my 60 years this is the first time we are having droughts? We have never had such a failure until now. Check your history
@Vee649174 ай бұрын
@@julietbwalya2344 With all due respect madam, I’m not responsible for your assumptions. Like they said this is the worst drought. While others are blaming governments for everything, others are finding solutions to mitigate the problems you have. You lack resources as a nation, you are even lucky your economy is still strong. Your president is trying to pay back the debt of the previous administrations. You honestly think a country would develop with 13 billion dollars of debt? Electricity is one of your major exports, to keep the economy strong and growing. You need those exports to increase forex so that they be able to repay the money. Your ZESCO, if I’m typing it correctly, they signed contracts that they just can’t drop even if they wanted to. Your country is not the only country suffering from the drought. It is worse in other countries that it’s not only your load shedding that is the problem. The government is not the administration, the government is the people. If the people feel like they can do better and find a solution to problems then they do it. That’s the difference between 1st world countries and 3rd world countries. In 3rd world countries y’all just talk and blame everyone, but in 1st world countries they take action as a nation. Talking never solves national problems.

This is richest man in Zambia, richest by far. Beside others he is extensive farmer with 70 cattle ranches which holds over 700 thousand cattle. He also owns 100 farms and 40 airports in different parts of the world. By some reports he is worth over 5bnUS$, while a large part of population of Zambia living in grinding poverty. Still many comments worship him. I suppose those are lucky ones with electricity and access to internet. People like Zambian President swamp to Europe and beg for money. In many European countries begging is illegal and it is mystery why they were not deported for vagrancy.
