We do the ash distillation too in zambia traditonally we use to prpare okra or african deliase called chikanda

I looked up what these beans and things his mother was adding at the beginning. Cow Peas = Black Eyed Peas, then Simsim = Sesame seeds? (Think I'm right on that one), then Gnuts = Peanuts!! This made me very hungry when I knew what was going into the food! I will add more if the names seem strange to me as I never heard those names used before being from the U.S.A..

Great food,great mom but can please discourage your family from washing all your dirty hands from the same basin? What's the purpose of washing your hands in one basin,same water,no soap? Really??
