Paul, is it ok to use parts of this footage for my own project, just few seconds of it? The project is about penguins, and I would show in a small window just 3 - 4 seconds of the footage of African penguins walking. Also, I would monetize the project.

+Tina Byworth they are here all year round. It is their home :)
@anytraveltips21797 жыл бұрын
Tina, there is best time. I'll copy the text from our website whentobewhere: "The breeding season is from February until August: It peaks from March to May. It's fascinating because all the penguins are at the beach feeding the small ones. The babies get feeded for about two month in the late afternoon. Therefore you have to decide between less crowds but also less penguins in the morning and more crowds but also more penguins in the afternoon. Or go late before they close (see above: Tourist crowds). In general you'll see more penguins in breeding season than at other times." However, it's crowded. Avoid weekends and be there early in the morning. Mike

THIS is why selfie sticks are banned at Boulders! You should have been fined and had your cameras confiscated for disturbing the penguins in this manner.

jon monsoon yes. He was right up to there face. When I filmed them on my channel the authorities were fine and I didn’t go too close

The Boulders colony is the best one in the world. Pleeease, don't feed the Americans. And the Australians. The penguins on Boulders beach are a very fragile colony and they struggle to mate with every other moron trying to poke them. They just need space. They will also not eat the dead skin off your toes. Try Singapore airport instead. OK?

Hi Mike, no problems, your website looks great! I just got back from Antarctica so maybe you should add that destination too! These are the videos:- kzbin.info/aero/PLNRWU6eWNb5qJm2RGGeL7cQpusJvN5MMY

Paul, thanks!! Excellent videos. I am also a hobby filmmaker; created our teaser video (it's in my channel). However, I am not nearly as good as you :) As a matter of fact, we already have a great Antarctica place on our website. I am afraid to post the link. I realized that youtube/google bans my comments when I post links too often. :( You can search for it on our site. I already have a cool video embedded, but will replace it with one of yours this week!! We love your videos :) Just noticed: You have great videos for other destinations. Can I let you let you know, which ones we could use/embed as well?

@thatquywithaface8 жыл бұрын
penguins can fray their feathers allowing themselves to cool down, kind of like rolling up your sleeves. also above their eyes is bare skin and can cool then off.
