All channels are routed through the monitors , depending on the equipment used each person can configure personalized levels of each instruments and vocals coming through their respective monitor. I'm a drummer, I've made the loop/stem channel the loudest loudest while i have others a reasonably moderate levels

Bro 😂 Everyone has their days nau. Do you flog the drums always? Like, in every play session you have? Not just the energy of the atmosphere too..but if the drum mics are well mixed and projecting well, I don’t see the need to flog the drums till the drum heads distune in 20 strokes. Also, what if they had just finished a jam session and he was a bit tired from it? There are days that he play and we all feel pity towards the drum kit. Lol The main thing is.. the groove was locked. To me, it’s a wrong perspective that drummers always have to be overly energetic and end up sweaty and all that. As long as the groove is groovy and locked.. it’s all good.
