I am 49 years old - and ARMY since 2017. They are really unique and very different from the usual k-pop groups. I won't mention their rough start, but it's a miracle that they broke through in such a competitive market. The groups from the big companies literally shoot themselves to the top, with the help of a lot of advertising and money... With BTS, everything is a lot of work, blood, sweat and tears. On the other hand they are some of the funniest people, they grew up together and love each other very much. Съжалявам за грешки, английският не е моят роден език... :)

I read that the reason they were originally accused of buying their own stuff was because South Korean fans of other artists would check the numbers and see BTS' stats jump up "overnight" and they couldn't think of any other answer but foul play. It was actually because ARMY was bigger out of their country than what was usual for artists still on the rookie-ish side, as they still were. The numbers jumped drastically because international sales are counted when each countries' organizations report everything at once each day

I wanted to add I think their are a lot more older fans then what that charts says. Just because this survey was done online and idk if all older people are best with online stuff…idk just my opinion

True. Especially Twitter, which is where most data collection is promoted. As someone in my 50s I eventually signed up to Twitter solely because of BTS! and still don’t really engage on it.

Yeah, I think a poll in TikTok will get a younger result, the ones on Weverse Shop will be higher in the 30-50 range and a poll made here in KZbin will give us 40+ a very high number compared to other sources
