I think somebody already mentioned it but this song actually came out closer to 25 years ago. This whole album is solidified at home here in da islands. Jawaiian is a concept that was born in the 70s….. but blew up in the 90s. I’m so glad it’s finally spanning across the world. Fiji is STILL doing live shows. Getting older but still the voice of gold. And yes….. all his own vocals covering them octaves. Even tho this song is over 25 years ago…. The kids today know very well who Fiji is and what he’s contributed to Hawai'i Jawaiian music.
