Now that we all supported our girl on her Miss Universe journey, something needs to be cleared here. Where did her father, an Igbo man got the name Adetshina from? Last time i checked it's a pour Yoruba name. The Yorubas in Benin Republic, Togo and Cote Divoire spelled Adeshina just like that. Igbos has been known to use other ethic names for crimes outside Nigeria. So, where did her father got the name from??? I'm a Yoruba man and we need to protect our name and values.

@@ObalufonI know him personally. It was an adopted name just like we do when we use a prepared travel documents to travel. His last name is Onwe and Chidinma is Vanessa Chidinma Onwe Adeshina. Even some people I know in America have different D.O.B and last names after trying to get visa a few times.

What I dont understand about South Africa. This is a beauty contest, I am sorry to say this but this is a vanity project and Chi Chi is a perfect fit because in terms of physical appearance alone any country even if it was not an African country any country would want such a beauty because she is so attractive it is unreal she looks like a real life barbie doll. So they only need to clothe her and speech train her, the rest of the work was done by nature or her genes. Why would South Africa not want to win Miss World on the world stage. They really lost a gem. Even if she won a silver medal because 1st runner up is a silver medal its still a win.
