3:27 : thank you for defending Poland. Unlike nations in the West, Poland never colonized or enslaved any people in Africa or in any other country. As a matter of fact, millions of Poles including my grandfather were enslaved for years by Germans for forced labor during WW II. God Bless the family of Samira and all the best in Poland.

In Poland 06-2-2024 - As a Black American, Poland is a better country. Not so much racism, as in the U.S .
@curtisthomas2670 Жыл бұрын
Fun fact: Poland had a black General in its military 100 years before the US. Wladislaw Jablonowski was born to an English noblewoman and a black man. Her husband Polish aristocrat Konstanty Jablonowski accepted the child and raised him as hos own. Wladislaw attended the French military academy Ecole Militaite where he was classmates with Napoleon. He joined the army and rose to the rank of General, leading the Polish Legions which fought for the French in hope that Napoleon would help Poland from domination by Russia, Austria and Prussia. He volunteered to go to Saint Domingue (now Haiti) during the Haitian Revolution where he died shortly after arrival from yellow fever. Of the 5000+ Polish Legionnaires who embarked in Saint Domingue 3000+ died of yellow fever, other diseases and combat. Around 500 of the remainder deserted and fought on the side of the rebellion against France. After the revolution the grateful Haitian leader Dessalines granted the remaining Poles citizenship in the independent Haiti. Some of them later joined Simon Bolivar's anti colonial revolution in South America when Bolivar was given refuge in Haiti on two occasions.

Hi, your channel is great. I guess you're learning about Poland. Most people like to move to USA. I'm noticing that more folks that moved to other countries, are returning back to Europe to retire. I have been watching BLOGGERS from UK, Brits. Also, ran across your blog, it appears folks are living their peaceful. I also noticed great amount of students in Polish Universities coming from everywhere, how would you rate Polish education and Universities.

In Poland, there is a huge demand for all specialists in the construction industry. Many specialists left because of the war in Ukraine. Ukrainian workers returned to defend the country. This is a good time to find a good job in Poland.
