North_East India we call seven sister, seven sister is like 1) Assam-Capital city is Dispur/Guwahati, 2) Meghalaya-Capital city is Shilong, 3) Manipur-Capital city is Imphal, 4) Nagaland-Capital city is Kohima, 5) Mizoram-Capital city is Aizwal, 6) Tripura- Capital city is Agartala, 7) Arunachal Prades-Capital city is Itanagar that's it. We the people of NEI know all the states and the people and their cultures but the people of other states outside NEI excluding West Bengal do not know anything about the people and their cultures because the children are not taught about Indian geography, the states and the people in their schools. But here in NEI we are taught about Indian geography, regional geography of India,etc, from the lower primary classes.That is the reason why most of the people, young and old, of the mainland India do not know about NEI.
