Our pride and strength as Gambian is the peace, stability, tolerant, friendly and peaceful coexistence between Muslims and Christians 🌹😍🥰
@marys68873 жыл бұрын
That is true but might be lost soon with the increased radicalization of Gambian Muslims from outside influences. Look at Northern Nigeria as a warning. Wahhabi islamism is horrible and will only lead to terrorism, discrimination against women, Christians and other religious minorities, more poverty, more crime, social and economic retardation, regressive education and no innovation when it comes to Science, Technology Engineering and Math. Nothing good comes from extremism and radicalization. Let's keep The Gambia as a tolerant and relatively peaceful country where all- Muslims, Christians, Wolof, Manjago, Mandinka, Aku, Jola etc all coexist and mingle peacefully. Don't let others come from the outside or a dictator come and divide and segregate you. Recently, there has been too much tension. It has to be addressed.
@gambiaglobaltv13523 жыл бұрын
@@marys6887 you made some good observations, I hope people coming to relocate to The Gambia 🇬🇲 will continue to respect and abide the values which keep us united for hundreds of years without a war in tribal or religious unrest
@gambiaglobaltv13523 жыл бұрын
@@marys6887 just yesterday my Senegalese friend was telling me how he love Gambian people more than Senegalese people because of our friendly nature. And all the other Africans I do come across always tell me how friendly Gambians are
@knittingvlogs62073 жыл бұрын
True Gambians i have met are very nice people, the peaceful coexistence is under threat due to Radicalization of Muslims , this is also happening in many other African countries,
@marys68873 жыл бұрын
@@gambiaglobaltv1352 Absolutely. Gambians are very peaceful. Don't misread my comment. Generally speaking, Gambians have been one of the most tolerant Africans- tolerant of foreigners, tolerant of religious diversity, tolerant of ethnic diversity- with intermarriage between different ethnic groups. However, recently, fueled by the previous dictator but continuing into the present, there has been too much unnecessary tribalism, religious intolerance, a bit of xenophobia especially against your senegalese brothers and sisters, etc. Gambia and Senegal are almost the same so you guys have to be careful. You share the same local languages and names, for the most part. The previous president was also very intolerant against the minority Christians, inciting violence against them and their churches, trying to turn the country into an Islamic state when government is, in fact, supposed to remain secular and impartial so it can serve ALL Gambian citizens regardless of their tribe, religious or political affiliation. There are many Arabs and Pakistanis there also importing their radical versions of Islam to The Gambia. They will only bring misery and civil unrest like in Northern Nigeria and Mali. EXTREMISM AND RADICALISM NEVER WORK!!! Just resist all these outside influences and replace tribalism and religious differences with patriotism and love for country. Regardless of your religious or political affiliations, you are ALL Gambians. Focus on development and advancement.

In my opinion, you have made the best KZbin Video of The Gambia in a long time. Of course, there have been many KZbin Videos of the Gambia, most by diaspora Africans who have taken up homes in the Gambia but their videos are always about themselves. When it is not their egos they will go into the poor neighbourhoods to spotlight the potholes in the roads, also, the rats and cockroaches are filmed, discussed and posted. But this video is different. Kudos.
