That was funny because she doesn’t look or sound Black American nor look South African in any way. Means Ethiopians don’t get to interact with a lot of foreign regular travellers…hope tourism continues to grow as maybe one day I’d like visit their ancient Orthodox Church,fascinating country. Adding it on my African list to visit…been to Morocco, South Africa, Namibia, Mauritius & Egypt…love SA, Namibia &Morocco

Lol that he guessed Black American or South African because I’ve been to South Africa a few times now, favourite African country to travel along with Morocco. Think you don’t look SouthAfrican at all …their women tend to have smaller eyes almost slanted& less broad features with more curvy bodies.If I didnt know your bio that you’re Kenyan, id have guessed Congolese or Nigerian , I know a lot of Nigerian & Congolese colleagues in UK. I agree you could pass for Jamaican too😊 Thanks for the lovely vlog, made me curious about Ethiopia but language seems like it will be a challenge…also the staring seems like a lot but I’m not a vlogger so maybe I won’t get stares should I visit as a Brit Edit: that dance ❤

No, Ethiopia was not colonized, but it was occupied by Italy for a time. If I'm not mistaken, that occupation caused a rift with Eritrea.
@yonas2828
@yonas2828 Жыл бұрын
It's not the occupation that created rift with Eritrea, Eritrea was colonized around 1896, but italian occupation of Ethiopia is from 1936 to 1941, and it was partial occupation. Anyways the reason Ethiopia and Eritrea has split is because of poor leadership
@StopTheLiess
