AfricaSunday with Monik Tenday: musical tour

Between birth and death.
In Africa, as elsewhere, important moments in life are accompanied by rites and ceremonies that often have a very long history.
With her voice, her guitar and her knowledge of Congo, Monik Tenday took us through the museum via the Great Rotunda and the Rituals and Ceremonies room.
The tour ended with songs from her repertoire, in the four national languages of Congo: Lingala, Swahili, Tshiluba and Kikongo.
