'When You're Falling' is taken from the Afro Celt Sound System album Volume 3: Further In Time.
Originally, Iarla Ó Lionáird intended to sing the song, but as it took shape it seemed more suited to a vocalists whose cross-cultural connections are well documented:
"Peter Gabriel has been a great mentor and role model for me," says Iarla. "Years ago I remember travelling in Ireland listening to his music, wondering if I'd ever get to meet people like him. I have been honoured to work with him in the past, but part of the magic of 'When You're Falling' was that we didn't meet- he just took the song and put his own turn on it."

This was the time when many good songs were released...a new day has come (Celina Dion), here i am (Bryan Adams), every other time (LFO), Fly Away from here (Aerosmith), Look at us (Sarina Paris), Bop Bop Baby (Westlife) etc..as a 12 year old used to listen to these on TV on channel V and MTV here in India... both these channels are long gone .... these songs are still in my playlist though... Brings back memories of early 2000s...no smartphones and internet was yet to become popular! Life was simple back then!! A lot has changed in just 2 decades.

Ever since I first heard this song, I've had an idea of doing a video for it that would be completely different: a scene of kids playing at a playground on jungle gym and swings and a trampoline, entirely in slow motion. There would be close-ups of the kids' smiling, laughing faces as they swing and bounce up and down. That's it. It's the type of video you might see in a musical interlude in Sesame Street.

It's New York City, and the man falls past one of the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center. As this song and album were released in 2001, the video was pulled from rotation after the terror attacks of 9/11.
