I had to choreograph something for Lion King today and I wasn't quite in the "African" world like I wanted to be, I was stuck somewhere between hip-hop and theatre. The "rhythm" I needed felt missing and "untrue" to what I wanted to get to. I clicked on this and I LOVED everything about it. It reminded me of steps and style I'd forgotten were true to form, but more than that, it reminded me of the special groove to tap into. You goddit goin' on doll...and you and your dancers are gorgeous!!!
