Perfect example of genre fusion. This group throughout their time on the show included salsa, meringue, rumba, hip hop, modern, Haitian, Brazilian, contemporary, Middle Eastern belly dance, African, jazz, Indian dance (i don't know which style this one is in the video) and more. If that's not worthy of being called the BEST dance crew, i don't know what is.

I don't mean to sound like a hater, but personally, I thought half of the time they advanced because of their looks. However, watching this again made me realize they were a very strong groups, and the Decades challenge showed me how versatile they are. Their final challenge was amazing.

I think they showed the most well versed and professional styles of dance ... the out did every group when it came to style of dance genres ... hip hop is obviously what this tv show was geared towards but Afroborike was way ahead of its time .. today is 2019 and now we have many dance tv shows celebrating dancers who are capable of doing all the other styles more so ... Afrobrorike you are forever in my heart and will always be the Champions to all of us who truly love DANCE of all styles ... y'all did that !

Interesting looking back at this now with the wealth of experience I now have, it's really refreshing seeing a crew like this and routines that I remembered thinking were bad were also pretty good too. I still think We Are Heroes deserved to win but Afroborike was easily one of the biggest surprises ever to enter ABDC.

I just went back to watch the We Are Heroes compliation and...yeah we owe Afroborike a major apology. I kept checking out of their performances, LOL, but these kats were much mote compelling than the hate I remember them getting. Season 4 was just not great in general, but they would've been better champions for it.

AfroBorike were all professionally trained dancers, they had beautiful technique and we have yet to see another crew come on abdc like that, although i still think WAH won because Rythmn City got eliminated, BeatFreaks will always be a better representation of an all female crew

Actually I'm sure We Are Heroes could do a lot of the stuff they did as they're technically and classically trained dancers too, of course Afroborike showed how versatile cultural styles can be as well as making it easy for those dancers to adapt to different styles.

I really like Afroborike but I dont think they were better than We are Heroes. The only performance i though was truly memorable was the bollywood one. Don't get me wrong, they are still extremely good, but not on We Are Heroes' level.

Looking back, they should’ve won, but they went to AMERICAS Best Dance Crew when they were dancing not representing America. If anything, it’s impressive they made it to the final two considering every challenge was set out to take them out of their element and never to celebrate what they do
