My money was on Ruiz. It felt like the stars was aligning, short notice, unkown heavy weight to most, first ever Mexican heavyweight chap. It felt destined. Everyone bashed Ruiz for being fat and out of shape blah blah even "experts" like Teddy Atlas. But Ruiz has shown he can go 12, and go 12 hard! The lil fat Mexican hax better stamina than most heavyweights. Also he has the fastest freaking hands it's imsane! Not only is he fast but accurate too. People got stuck on his gut and ignored his skill. Oh yeah and a granite chin! So the fight. It started great I mean Joshua seemed to have him. That knockdown in the third was set up by Joshua brilliantly he the taller fighter got in close and knocked down Ruiz in the pocket! It proved Joshua's skill and class. But that's also where the fight ended to be honest Ruiz got up like a mofo. And the started throwing. Ruiz got him behind the ear. That was it fight over. Joshua never recoverd after that, legs were shakey. Hands were down, equilibrium gone. He was gone loose after that regardless. Was suprised Ruiz didn't go in the for the kill in the 4th. But clearly they had a gameplan and executed it to perfection. Ruiz was the better fighter no doubt. I'd like to know how you think Ruiz now measures up to Wilder and Fury. Personally I have always seen it as Fury > Wilder > Joshua. But things are really intresting now.

I completely agree with you dude! every single person never gave Ruiz a chance! Joshua was kinda in a bubble.... he wasn't right after the first knock down from Ruiz! I love an underdog story and i was happy for him! The first ever Mexican heavyweight champion! He got up like a true champion and fought on! Joshua has had a wake up call i believe....Terrible fight IQ in terms of brawling with Ruiz when he was hurt... Lacked alot of movement... he was allowing Ruiz to back him up also... Ruiz is now a star over night! A rematch rumoured to be in November could you imagine if he beat him again! I couldnt agree more with the rankings there too! Fury above all then wilder and joshua! You are right! the heavyweight division is going to be interesting! I think fury would beat Ruiz due to his movement... i think wilder v ruiz could be a war! Thank you for the comment man! I also believe Fury would beat Ruiz maybe not knock him out but definitely get the decision W over him. The only way I see Ruiz beat someone like Tyson is if he somehow traps him, rocks him and beats his Gypsy King ass. But that means Ruiz would theoretically have to do everything just to get a shot in. Wilder vs Ruiz man I dono Wilder is a beast of a man, but to be honest he is very limited in what he can do. His movement technique and stamina is kind of poor. If Ruiz would fight smart take him deep maybe 8th round up he could knock the Bronze bomber out. But then again we all have seen it it takes one straight only one straight from Wilder to end it all. How Fury got up I have no idea. I think Ruiz has a better chin than Fury. Ruiz took shots man. Joshua hit him hard... Fooking hard. I've seen some analysis vidoes on the fight. Joshuas hooks were near perfect but that lil Mexican just kept coming foward. I mean Joshua does not have light hands. I'm honestly suprised Ruiz took some of those shots cleanly and didn't take a step back. Scary. There will be a rematch I do not doubt it if it's for all the belts I don't know Ruiz might have some mandatory obligatied defenses now IBF I think? But that rematch will happen. Probably in the UK too. You mentioned you think Joshua will take it that time. I think the fight might be hella closer than this one. Who would come out ontop I will make a call before it happens. Would wanna see the camps leading up to it. What do you think Joshua has to do now? How does he get back on top and proof his monicker is not just a dog with bark but no bite? Some poeple are suggesting he fire his trainer and completely reinvent himself like Lewis did years ago. Adversity brings out the true colour of all time greats I'm curious to see what happens.

Could you imagine if Ruiz wins the rematch! his stock will fly up! if it hasn't already!!! I agree that Fury would win and i think wilder v ruiz would be some crazy match up where anything goes! one thing is for certain ruiz has a granite chin! I compared fury getting up to joshua getting up... Fury got up like it was a breeze that hit him... joshua wasnt right for the rest of the fight! In honesty i think the loss is good for him.. they was putting his name up there with Ali, Tyson and the all time heavyweight greats if im honest i think it may have gotten to his head... tons and tons of sponsors too! I do think he will come back stronger! I do think he has the ability to be remembered as one of the best but some changes are needed! Fight IQ was horrible! he got hurt and didnt hold'/evade any thing he just went for the kill! I dont know if a new trainer is needed just yet but he should go back to the drawing board to see what he did wrong! I think AJ needs the rematch and needs to put on a dominant masterclass in order to be considered at the top.. then Ruiz could warrant a rematch and we may see a trilogy! If there is one thing i took from the fight it is never judge a book by its cover! everyone was saying about how fat he looked and how unfit he looked! He just dethroned one of the kingpins in boxing today on short notice! What do you think his future will be?

@@CurleyCal I know we are getting the rematch. I know AJ will be a different fighter when that day comes. But boxing is an unforgiving discipline. I'm actually hoping Ruiz does not loose his sense of self. I doubt he will. That man has clear purpose and drive. Getting to a championship is one hell of a mountain to climb already. Keeping it is Everest. My hopes are actually with Ruiz I'm hoping he comes in with even better purpose, better determination, and keeps the belts and goes on to try and get them all. One thing is certain the rematch is going to be insane. This time Ruiz will have everything to loose and AJ will have one victory in his sights no Wilder Fury or whatever in the future. Only the man standing right infront of him.
