Previously on elden ring. Afro ventured forth and made his way to volcano manor. Unfortunately on his way there Patches decided to show his true nature. Who could have possibly seen that coming. With newfound power Afro takes care of Godkin apostle. Going to a village and interrupting a group of nice dancers. He then took on the fully grown Starfell beast which he had trouble with, but eventually he came on top with this new weapon. Afros deside for power has driven him mad, killing Multiple merchants just trying to sell him stuff. Has afro finally gone mad? Does his sword blind him of his hypocrisy? Not wanting to summon for it to be easy but borrow a weapon which he didn't level up at all and is well beyond his reach. Did he beat the starfell beast only because of his borrowed power? Will Afro come back to the light? Next time on. Elden ring the story of afrosenju....

The weapon he used wasn’t TECHNICALLY stronger than he could make his weapons because you can’t trade a weapon to a player if they don’t already have access to a weapon of the same level. Ran into that issue trying to trade stuff from one character to another. So Afro had something that was +9 already or at least had the somber stones for it.

Whips are so good in this game, even in PVP and is heavily underrated. For some reason they have insane stagger this time around and just like in DS3 it can't be parried but can't backstab.

Whips are more balanced now than ever tbh. I love them in this game. The stagger was needed because they aren’t the fastest weapon even though they are tricky to dodge sometimes and the fact that they damage things that don’t take slash damage very well (like the fallingstar beast) makes them clutch in pve. Also the no backstabs but no parry trade off is perfect. They are a staple in pvp for me if someone tries to whip out a buckler.

Flame Control is actualy Sasuke's thing (his left eye is Amaterasu and his right is Flame Control which allows him to control his Amaterasu) whereas Itachi's eyes are Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi.

Hey Afro, there's a secrete passage you could've taken in the first room to the right in the hallway. It's to the right under a painting if i remember correctly, you have to roll into it. If i'm not wrong it takes you threw a dungeon then to the main volcano manor boss.

Quick small tip, if you hold down on d-pad it auto switches to first item in list, which is usually your heals. Hope that comes in use. Great vid.

the volcano manor quest is super sad. all the tarnished you kill are good people. (except maybe rileigh and juno, idk what they do) you can summon istvan to help you with an early game dungeon, and tragoth's lore says he helps out all new tarnished and is the reason why a lot of tarnished even survive at all. then you just kinda murder them. but that armor tho

A little tip about those dragon abilities is that you're using them too close. The breath attacks have crazy range, so it's far better used at a distance.

Hey Afro idk if you've already done this, but in Caelid by the GIANT Pot guarded by 2 stone giants..you can summon 3 enemy npcs to fight. If you beat them you get an item that drastically increases your carry weight. It's worth checking out if you need the extra mobility. Its not attached to a quest

Afro is the best example of git gud. There has been very minimal frustration in the last few videos, and as funny as it is when hes mad, its just as satisfying seeing him slaughter through this game. Btw Afro the seal you are using to cast your incantations is the dragon communion seal which scales with arcane so it’s very good for dragon spells but regular faith inactions won’t do much damage with that seal so you should probably use another one that scales with faith.

Nice to see the new build Afro - kinda agree with you, Rivers of Blood is just too OP. Looking forward to more vids! Gonna drop a few hints for your new gear below, your choice to read it or not :) So, the Godskin Peeler - your best move is sprinting heavy attack, combo with bleed or poison for lots and lots of stacks and you could add seppuku if you want extra bleed - your choice. Black Flames are different from normal fire - it does damage over time equal to your opponents max HP, making it really strong against bosses. Black Flame Blade can be cast in motion and in the middle of a combo too, try to weave it into your combos to boost your damage! The Godslayer Greatsword is REALLY strong but slow, you're best using it against bosses, especially bigger and chunkier bois. Believe it or not actually, the Godslayer Greatsword has a unique moveset which makes it the fastest ultra greatsword in the game - it's a specialist weapon for casters, try running it with your seal in the left hand. The whips have gotten a HUGE upgrade from DS3 and they've got a great moveset, especially if powerstanced. Whips are unique - they're the only weapons in the game that cannot be parried at all, but the price you pay is you can't riposte (crits and backstabs) with them. The whip you got in the vid is the really bleed heavy whip - if you want a good whip to pair it with for dual wielding, try the Irumi, if you put the Irumi in the main hand and the Petals in the off, your heavy attack becomes a stab and a slash, which is REALLY good for mixing opponents up and keeping your distance! The Irumi whip can be grabbed in the Manor leading to Ranni, which is why you might already have it :) Just be aware there aren't a lot of ashes of war available for whips, so you might wanna use bloodhound step with them. Lastly, dragon form - if you've got the named spells (the ones you only get by killing boss dragons), you can hold the button down to keep casting! Great for melting opponents with. Also, you can cast in mid air! Very badass move with a surprising amount of utility. Try it out!

5:08 This was because you lose your great rune buff when invading. Its the same when you're co-op'ing as well. Only solo play you get the +5 in all stats from godricks great rune, which naturally increases your equip load by abit ( with a rune arc activated of course). It does throw you off at times if you do alot of multiplayer and forget to keep your equip load a tad bit lower than you normally would solo beforehand.
