just an FYI when it comes to sidequests/sidecontent - some of them transform into storylines that continue as you progress in the main story. One big problem in this game is when you say no, IT GENUINELY MEANS NO. You literally cannot enter that mission or storyline unless you got a save before it. If a character calls you about a mission, best bet is say yes - you do not have a time limit or anything for all of them, but saying no locks you out of it Also game is save based like skyrim so make sure u find a comfortable quicksave & quickload button :)

Not 100% true. When Songbird calls you if you ignore her or don’t take action soon, you fail the mission and lock yourself out of the main story for Phantom Liberty, which is some of (if not the best) writing in the game

Please make this a series! 1. Blue dialogue does not always progress the conversation but it does help lore and info for the story 2. Important you do side missions and gigs along with story missions because they help develop your character and story experience 3.All good weapons can be found by looting and not buying 4. The updates on the game only fixed bugs and the skill tree; story has been the same except for the new DLC addition 5. Its important to figure what build you want to do for this story as it will effect your playstyle and health; I recommend a sandevistan build since your Gung-Ho (Like David in Edgerunners Anime) 5. Hope you enjoy the game!

Just a Helpful tip try sleeping in the game before starting a quest or every hour Sleeping in game gives you double Exp and it hell of a boost in the gameplay to early open skills and improve faster

Pay attention to side quests not only can they affect the ending you get but it can help increase your street cred. 2. Your dialogue choices do matter it can effect your relationships and if certain npcs do or do not give you quests. 3. Street cred is important, certain cyberware (like Sandivistans) are locked behind higher street creds.

I recommend the DLC as it adds a whole new plot, quests, and new area to the game. Instead of a loading screen into the new area you just get scanned through the border which makes it feel more clean/immersive. Only time you really get a loading screen is when you load up your game and fast travel. Fast travel also is like one of my least used features cause driving in the game feels so natural. It definitely improved since it first came out, plus they added a lot more cosmetics in the new update, including being able to change certain cars colours.

a few tips from a launch player :) 1. only way to encounter smasher is to beat the game. there are multiple endings. 2. NCPD gigs on map are ez xp and money sources with lil to no effect on the main story. 3. Do side quests. the city is dense just explore in general. 4. some side quests are Timed. 5. Loot all the things. they all have a use. 6. DO NOT DELETE ICONIC WEAPONS. 7. Attributes max at 20. spend wisely you won't be able to max them all without mods. Welcome to night city choom

I remember playing Cyberpunk back when it first came out and was disappointed too. Didn't even get past the prologue. But during September last year I decided to give it another try and I finished it within that month. Game immediately became one of my favorites right then and there. Cyberpunk actually had one of the greatest comebacks for a video game I've ever seen. The game is so peak now I boot it up to start a new run sometimes.

Great video. Some things to know when continuing is that blue text mostly adds more context to stuff and can open into more dialogue. The life paths mostly have similar starts but give access to alternate dialogue based around the path you took. And moslty every mission has an alternative way to complete them.

I’ve been playing since the game has launched, there is essentially zero changes to the games story from the launch. The driving does feel slightly different because they fixed some bugs related to the way the cars handled, but there was no large overhaul of driving outside of adding vehicle,combat. most of the patches were bug fixes. the main new features was a change to the ways cars are bought, new cars,extra events with romanced partners, a new skill tree and crafting, and an overhaul to cyber ware.
