Yajirobe, Afterimage Strike, unblockabled are why I think this game should not have had a ranked mode. The classic games are revered even with poor balancing because there wasn’t an official ranked mode. Ranked calls for balancing, and Balancing isn’t what we had in those classic games.

Im going to be real, I really hope they don’t make this game hyper competitive with future updates. I feel like now a days, every game is held at a competitive stand point and it takes out the fun that we all experienced when we were kids. Budokai tenkaichi, raging blast, burst limit, we’re all games me and my brothers played together as kids just having fun and never raging over anything about the game specifically. These games are meant to be played for fun and all games are for that reason. I just don’t want to see my childhood turned into a competitive mess so I really hope they don’t change the game drastically with all these competitive player complaints of the game

Vanish war kinda annoying to watch. 3 things that shouldn't be in this game. 1) Instant Sparking/full ki skills 2) unblockable attacks 3) no increase difficulty window on counter vanishing. It makes the game waaaay to spam reliant with those 3 things always being prioritized and over utilized.

But for being in the fight, at the end of the day, it's about focusing and mastering the technique; fighting so fast to the point you don't even know what's going on. It might be boring to watch but it's still fun to watch 2 players who've mastered the mechanic showcase their skills.

It's not as good as you think it is. Throw ki blasts and it will stop them when they reach the top or just do a regular dragon dash to home in on them. There are many other ways to deal with it.

A better fix for vanish wars is giving players the option to do an empty vanish instead of a vanish attack. That way either player can choose to end the war themselves or continue the war. This was in BT3 but I don't know why they didn't bring it back.

As far as the Vanishing wars go. I think they should take a page from Dissidia FF. Specifically the pursuit attacks. The attacker has the option to do a quick bravery attack or a slower HP attack and the defender has to dodge at the right time. If the defender dodges too soon expecting a brave attack they get hit by the HP attack, but if the defender is overly concerned with getting hit by the HP attack, the attacker can keep getting the quick hits. It creates a mind game . They just have to add some extra level of decision making to vanishing.
