He mentioned this tragedy in many of his tracks. Also while performing AFSANAY on stage for the first time, in Karachi, he cried and left the stage.

.it was so beautifuly done..some twist and climax in the story was so exciting and got surprised...Actually in this song Talha Yunus is writing “afsanay” and Talha Anjum’s life story in the song is something Talha Yunus wrote in his note book... It’s all imaginary... In the end scene Yunus is holding that note book in his hand. Inception movie type scene ..... Talha Yunus is like a angel in this video that record our deeds. He' keep talking about how he doesn't write "afsanay" anymore, and he can't be seen by anyone (mein dunya ko dikhta nahi hu)this implies that he is not a living as a human being... The fact that in this video he is everywhere but yet nobody sees him support this claim... He can only be seen by Anjum after he crashed the car so it is possible that Anjum died and maybe being a angel of death.. Yunus knew all along that Anjum is going to die and that is why Yunus was with him and couldn't be seen...For clear explanation of this video track is.... In this video Talha Younus is playing the character of two angels who write our deeds...one is writing sins other is writing virtues...it is a Muslim believe beautifully portrayed in a video...Since the beginning of this video he is shown around Anjum yet unseen by Anjum.... It is a Islamic faith that each of all Muslims.. have these angels assigned who are unseen... but yet they are present with us always... when Anjum committed a murder.. Younus was there similarly after this in every shot even in flash backs Younus was seen ....Younus is shown holding an envelope which is representing amaal nama (deed record book) ....he is seen on the back seat un noticed by Anjum then Anjum gets to an accident and is seen dead hence meeting Younus ....finally (the two angels) who were writing Anjum's deeds all along this video....Thats all.... I liked your interpretation of the song as it is similar to mine. I know mine is kind of faulty but It seems more beautiful that way. I interpret this song in 3 ways: 1. The obvious story of yunus being karma or some high entity as we can see he's always present, penning his actions down. And when anjum crashes his car and meets yunus in spirit he realises everything ,everything he had known and everything he didn't. It's not a judgement but a realisation that your actions led to this , this is you . Yunus was just the observer nothing more. 2. In my limited knowledge of urdu 'afsanay' means 'a narrative' . And since the hook says 'afsanay ab mei likhta nhi hoon' . The second meaning of the song is just the contrary that this is an 'afsana' a short narrative by anjum. We can see in the music video that anjum is involved in the shady aspects of life like crime and drugs smuggling. So a part of him , the part that makes him feel 'free' built that narrative (narrative here means this entire song). The concept of yunus and everything is his narrative , a creation of art to get relief from his awful life (according to the music video) 3. And finally the most important interpretation in my opinion : this is just a huge metaphor. Yunus actually is self reflection of anjum. Yunus is the the introspection of anjum , he represents the 'poetic , uncorrupted artist ' the version of anjum that could have been instead of what he is of now. And the biggest proof is the way anjum looks at yunus at the end is the same way as he was looking at his reflection in the mirror. Yunus is the 'man in the mirror' the better part , the hopeful part. And therefore everything is a metaphor. The 'death of the girl' is actually a representation of him pushing away a beloved in such a harsh manner that the relationship was dead. Him 'driving like crazy' is a representation of him trying to search to repair or to find what he lost . And him crashing and meeting yunus is representation of self actualization after taking a huge downfall. Atleast this is how I interpreted this .

11:51 sorry to say if i am saying something wrong but as far as i know or the best theory explaining video is that there is a concept of two angels raqib and atid in islam who are with you at every point of life taking account of your good and bad deeds here yunus is anjum's angel following him in whole video but anjum is not able to see him at any point except at the end when he died in car crash. also in start yunus was writing something while sitting in a yellow room with some notes on the wall and after crash anjum is inside the room who is guilty over sins he did in his life which might be written on the walls. again saying i dont know the exact concept of these angels since i am not muslim.
