This is typical of so many hospitals today! At the hospital I recently quit after 14 years of service, the administration kept creating all these new and unnecessary positions for directors and managers yet cutting hours of housekeepers (who keep infection control down) and other lower income employees because of 'budget concerns'. Several departments, including mine, hadn't had a raise in 3 years yet the executives kept getting theirs. And bonuses to boot. Ridiculous!
