Otis is right. There's no sound on Earth like a bunch of flattrack bikes warming up. It's the greatest sport on Earth with the bravest racers.

I don't really know all the rules, but it seems odd that Beach's crash, which had little impact on the other riders, DQ's him while Mees crashes twice, once even by running into someone else, and he moves on. Unless it's something like they need a minimum of X riders to advance and since Beach was DQ'd and FIsher was knocked out of commission Mees gets to move on by technicality? Or unless Beach's bike was actually unridable after that seemingly minor fall, and THAT caused the DQ.

What happened on this twins start? #27 is a few feet behind the line, starts early, comes to a complete stop and does not cross the starting line, the light goes green and he is allowed to continue? Look at Mees. He's looking back at the starter or judges or lights and misses out on the start.

31:40 I understand this is racing, but when Mees passed Smith on the inside, Mees forces Smith wide in the turn for Mees's advantage. Is this legal? You do that on a mile and it can kill a rider going down. 33:55 Bauman gives Wiles an elbow to keep him further on the outside. Is this legal?

@SanFranciscoB, You should have seen Black Bart Markel back in the day. I finally got to watch Carrol Resweber put him down hard at the old Hinsdale track. Tremendous sport! Still no TT guy like Gary Scot on that old $900 Triumph that won 20 times it's weight in cash in TTs! Bike was in Hall of Fame Museum. Scott always found his own special lines around the TTs, and always ended up on the podiums. The greatest TT racer of all time.
