Nice build. Is there sleeping area?
@InJapanCampingCooking369
@InJapanCampingCooking369 2 жыл бұрын
Yes, there is a sleeping area. I just take the orange plywood on the side and lay it in the middle. Then, I lay a futon on top. I thought I explained how towards the emd of this video. I guess I’ll have to make a short video showing how it works. Thanks for watching and commenting. kzbin.info/www/bejne/horSnnZ9rpmjaJo

It looks small from the outside but is quite roomy inside. Looks can be deceiving sometimes. Yes, no bathroom is somewhat inconvenient but not that bad.

I love the mountains, too. But since I live in Okinawa which is a small island, the best option for camping is by the ocean. I’m always searching for a mountain hideaway somewhere.

Thanks for commenting. No problem with ice here in subtropical Okinawa but rain, yes. I think I’ll go with a flat roof with a 60 slope on the overhead cab for aerodynamics on my next build.

i heard japan have a high road and vehical tax .. can u pls tell us all about road and vehical tax in japan .. small camper
@InJapanCampingCooking369
@InJapanCampingCooking369 2 жыл бұрын
The annual road in Japan is a bit complicated. Basically, the bigger the vehicle and engine, the higher the cost. I pay ¥6,000 (about $70) for my mini truck. Also, every 2 years, the vehicle must be inspected. Again, the bigger the vehicle, the higher the cost. I pay ¥40,000 for my mini truck. Any necessary repairs are extra. I have to take the camper off before inspection. It will not pass inspection with the camper on the truck but afterwards it’s okay to put the camper back on as long as it’s within the legal dimensions. There are plenty of resources online which explain in great detail about road tax and vehicle inspection fees.

@InJapanCampingCooking369
@InJapanCampingCooking369 2 жыл бұрын
Ha! There is no toilet. There plenty of places to go such as convenience stores and supermarkets. If I’m in a remote location, I do my business in the woods. In emergency situations, I use a plastic bag. As for a shower, I take a lot of sponge baths. I also have a small solar shower. Sometimes I wash by a river. There are also public bathhouses throughout Japan which are very reasonably priced.

Very nice camper! Your batteries are connected 'parallel', if it remains 12 voltage. 'Series' would double the voltage.
