Not referring to the creator here just a general statement. How many Warframe players were concerned about forma/reactors/catalysts their first week……. Exactly. Let the game be out for a month and then complain about your “rng”. All of the heavy complaints online are just veterans of other games expecting their “skills” to translate to fast growth. Like it’s been a week lol give it some time.

Nobody because they DONT KNOW YET. when i was a beginner i didnt know what forma was or why do i need it. Now I have weapons and frames w 8 formas invested .. some more because of reworks and had to reforma it. We warframe players TOTALY UNDERSTAND EVEN IN THE FIRST WEEK THAT WHY IT IS A PROBLEM . Because we KNOW that u will need a LOT.

I did play waframe from the day it released and it was pretty bad back then. The game did update and get better with time.. But i think ppl are pretty unreasonable the game just came out and they want to max out the descendant.. And it really doesnt take that long to get aome of the things ive already managed to farm up 5 of the catalysts sadly i cant craft all at same time but one at a time wich take some time sadly

You are right tbh. At some point farming Forma and Potatoes were hard asf that once towers were gone and relics came in action you could run 3 hours of survival and 75% of those relics were gonna be forma/forma/forma/forma and probably a paris prime grip. How many prayers were heard on those days when Lotus events dropped with Reactors fully built where all you had to do was capture a target or spy mission depending on what Lotus wanted us to do but you had guaranteed reactor for frame and weapon. Now we have Nora event for forma and reactors. So yeah Warframe was damn rough early days and even during the relics however it started getting good when Nora dropped giving us access to resources that were once hard asf cause yeah KUVA was also a pain in the nuts, Nitain Extract also. Nora came out in early 2019 with Saturn Six story and that was 5 years and a half after the game released...

Lmfao at least I don’t have to farm 17 different items just so I can get 20 extra mod capacity in warframe I don’t mind having these items in the game for progression but when you lock them behind a insanely tedious grind wall I’d much rather go back to warframe. The full bps for the individual items (activators and catalysts) should be locked to hard mode activities with low drop rate chances

This game is currently very generic and predatory in its monetization, but it has the potential to improve and become a great game. I would improve the following: 1) Increase experience for weapons and descendants by 20% permanently, with double experience every weekend. 2) Reduce the amount of items needed to build the Crystallization Catalyst and Energy Activators, making the progression more enjoyable and organic. 3) Add more activities on the maps and public events like Destiny where suddenly there were random events that bring the worlds to life. 4) Improve the battle pass, adding skins for descendants and weapons, including legendary skins that evolve like bunny's, and items such as Energy Activators and Crystallization Catalyst. 5) Improve the animations and fluidity of the movements and parkour of the Descendants, currently they feel clunky. 6) Improve facial and body animations of NPCs, so that they look less generic and with soul. 7) Give more distinction and personality to the weapons, similar to Destiny, Warframe and Borderlands where each weapon has different ways of firing, lasers, fire, energy orbs, shrapnel, shock waves, right now most weapons feel the same. 8) Improve and add unique visual effects of the Ultimate Descendants, to make them stand out more, compared to normal versions. 9) Add cinematic and dynamic camera when using certain abilities, like Wuthering Waves ultimate skills, that way the game will feel more impactful. 10) Rework the boss mechanics and removing the orbs that give invulnerability, it is a bad and boring mechanic design. 11) Improve the AI ​​of the enemies by making them take cover from the environment and behave in a more organic and intelligent way, currently they only walk towards their death being brainless bullet sponges, a good example is Gears Of War, the Locusts are pretty dangerous and smart, they flank you if you are not paying attention. 12) Adding dynamic weather and day and night cycles to the worlds, this would give more variety and less monotony to the gameplay, for example, rain, sunny, cloudy, snow, thunderstorm, night, eclipses, etc. 13) Improve game performance. 14) Adding raids, with unique loot, interesting mechanics and fun enemies, similar to Destiny or Final Fantasy 14. 15) Eliminate the pigment system and use the same Warframe color palette system, once a palette is purchased, it is used for all Descendants and weapons without limit of use, including the possibility of being able to paint the base skins. 16) Add an trade system where it is traded with Caliber (the premium currency).

The timers have got to go because it forces players to one play style and every little second your running around trying to find ammo or a health pack or to revive somebody is time wasted and it can also discourage a lot of players to keep on with the fight if they feel the fight will go past the time limit. There has been many times where I get in a match and 2 minutes in, somebody will leave.

Ugh. I hate the stupid timer. Especially on the Devourer or those platforming ball collecting missions when you usually have JUST enough time to collect what you need. God forbid my friend who struggles so hard with platforming have to do those missions alone.

Same here. Mindless grind that is fun is great. Fully free player and I got 4 Descendants and I am working on getting Gley next. I got 7 weapons too and I already upgraded 2 characters and 4 weapons for free

see, you play the game as it is intended. People buying all their energy activators and upgrade shit on day 1 are totally removing the grind and thus about 90% of the game lol. This kind of game is about grinding a lot, and the reward is the drop and being able to kill tougher enemies because of the drop. Not just buying that shit out of the store then complaining about microtransactions and how there's nothing to do lol.

I understand feeling like things are unreasonably long to obtain, but honest when I say I feel like some people forget that you’re supposed to be playing the game. Switch up your grind loop with different missions to pick up other drops for other things you’re looking to unlock. It comes off like eople get a free to play game, and then complain that they have to play it. Problem also comes off as people playing to obtain things rather than playing to have fun while they obtain them. Switch up the grind route to stay fresh.

uhm i mean you play a game, pick a character,weapon or whatever and try to get it, i dont play a game to use whatever random item it throws at me^^ if i want to be efficeint i should be able to or am i wrong? its called "setting yourself a goal/target". i dont run around irl without knowing what im looking for lol but yeah i got your point but thats forcing your way of playing the game on me and thats not how games should be, i can have fun playing the same mission for days with no problem but i got problem if i have to play a mission a million times to get the thing i need like 3 times only to have another abysmal chance of getting my item on a 1/5 chance or at a 6% chance. its not the fact that the chance of getting the reward from the boss is low(i dont mind a low drop chance) its the fact that i do a mission for 3 hours to get 1 relic and with that relic i kill the boss to get the actual chance of getting my item, the chance from relics itself can be low as hell i dont mind it, but i want to get the chance of doing the boss to not be abysmal. soprry not a native engl speaker so it might be sound confusing^^

You can also get "bonus" loot from infiltration missions with Sharen. If you do them invis without being detected you can receive the bonus loot pool at the bottom of the list. You more than likely will need to be in a solo lobby for this because other players will rush in and kill the reactors causing you to lose the bonus.

The concerns are real I do believe in this game tho, it has a bright future. And specially for a free game you can have dozens of hours of entertainment just by playing the campaign, wich is good. If anyone decides to farm advanced descendants or weapons/materials tho.. it gets rough, the multistage 6% drops rates are nuts. I pretty much gave up on Gley for now. Ultimates? Bruh

They should work on enemy attacks being dodgable/avoidable. Some attacks just home in on you from behind a wall. It frustrates me that defensive modding is so mandatory because of this.

Half of your character is just defense related and that makes many abilities lackluster because you can't fully build for them. Some characters need serious stat balancing for them to be viable in how the game is now.

Maybe stop looking at it from a warframe perspective where the drops are so poor, people were conditioned to trade for it. Compare the drops side by side. Warframe has mods that have a 0.67% drop rate with a 4% drop chance (the chance the enemy actually drops loot). I find the rng fine. I don’t mind the grind. Its week 1, why are we talking about buying activators? Use the free ones you get. Farm for more. Yea the stuff in the store is high. If you plan on not spending a dime, it shouldn’t be a conversation. Many people keep repeating the same thing about warframe trading or $100 skins. How about start a new account on warframe and tell us how far you get with all the time gating.

My list is, bringing a support character is a significant dps loss. Due to this, what support they bring to the table NEEDS to be significant enough to make up for such a dps loss. Yujin, for example, can barely make any use of his skillsets because they all either require having other players know exactly how yujin works OR require other characters to stand in very specific spots at the exact right moments. With how chaotic the game is, absolutely no one is taking a break from olaying to go huddle around yujin. His range restrictions need to be entirely removed. Good luck trying to heal a bunny. The moment you put it on one, they are out of range half a second later and then back to a long cooldown. Enzo suffers from the same problem. Almost impossible to notice his ammo drone, and by the time you do, it despawns. Same with the ultimate - everyone has to somehow know to all huddle around enzo. If supports are going to be viable, their range restrictions need to go. Also, drop rates need their chances adjusted by the time to complete a mission. If it's a 3% drop chance on a 30 second mission, then that 3% needs to be significally increased on a 10 minute mission. If it's literally taking 3 hours on a 30 second mission with a 20% drop chance (no joke. Happened to me), then we are expected to run a 10 minute mission for 60 hours before we get the drop. That is absolutely ridiculous. Thats longer than the freaking campaign. At the very least, trading needs to be implemented. Additionally, defense missions need to have their reward period shorter. It's silly to literally have to play for 14 minutes just to get to the first reward which has a high chance of just being as much currency as you get doing 30 second mission. Every 3 or 4 waves would be nice. It's actually 2 for the mining interuption missions!

Having to constantly know where the adds are during the hard mode boss fights in annoying, for one, they are my health pots as Gley, two they can stagger and interrupt my burst phase.

Referring to the crazy drop rate for some of the parts needed to craft a Decendant or weapon, I agree with what you said completely. Took me about 18 tries, of the same boss fight, just to get the Enhanced Cells for Freyna. My buddy got it either on the first or second try. All while it's supposedly a 20% chance to drop... 20:19

the only thing with enemy density is if they just spawn a bunch of enemies that are walking around its going to be a disaster for those in an instance where 3 different people in the same area start 3 different missions. For somebody who is well built and prepared its just "more enemies to kill" but for those who are barely scraping by more random enemies dogpiling into the mission its going to be annoying.

So I farm all the parts for a Descendant...18hrs? a piece. Put it altogether 28hrs. Cost to rush all of this is the same as just buying the dam Descendant. From a Dev perspective this is counter intuitive. People that farm a Descendant aren't going to pay to rush when its the same cost as a Descendant from store.

I like the explosions since it’s similar to Warframe and Destiny 2. Also, they help you with the auto assist aiming so the explosions aren’t bothering me when my teammates are firing the explosion weapons.

Jokes aside, there's a whole lot of "do better" in this video of complaints, but there's also a lot of good points that have been said multiple times by multiple people. The prices in the shop are #1. all over the place, and #2. way too high for what you're getting. It's clear that they've taken inspiration from Warframe's pricing, but somehow they messed it all up int he process; forgetting things, intentionally excluding things, etc. The grind is fine, but the hyper-specific grinding for items that should just be available during a normal grind is what gets me. Locking voids to certain abilities promotes a drive to earn (buy) different Descendants, but it also punishes group play dynamics. No rewards just 'cause you're not that type? Sleezy. Either way; new game, it's fun, we'll see where it goes.

I’m 300 hours in and farmed 4 Ult’s, 5 normal descendents, finished upgrading and maxing out 2 Ult weapons and 3 rare weapons, with 20 catalyst BP’s and 10 activator BP’s. tbh I think TFD doesn't deserve the "but Warframe had 10 years TFD is still new" argument You don't get to copy most of your core gameplay systems from Warframe then conveniently "forget" the QoLs and pricing that Warframe had implemented. A lot of this feels like the devs are intentionally holding back to milk as much money as possible during the honeymoon phase. thing number 1: Matchmaking for hard mode dungeons. thing number 2: horde modes to no longer have gold as reward, and always have chance for both purple amorphous material. (currently you are incentivized to leave early.) thing number 3: complete removal of the enemy buff that makes them silence your descendant or drain their mana. (an enemy that takes away the games strength is very stupid) thing number 4: remove the cool down timer on the steal infiltration quests. also make them viable for others to complete that are not the sole stealth character. thing number 5: legendary reactors need to be effective while their gun requirement is equiped, not held. i shouldnt have a handicap in versatility on the upgraded option for reactors. thing number 6: mission details should show everyone's damage output, not just your own. also show damage received and mitigated. thing number 7: some way to tell what orb you need to destroy next for the bosses that require an order. sometimes i look away and no longer can tell which one to shoot. (scan, glowing orb) thing number 8: Natural and meaningful mana regeneration over time in combat. thing number 9: Ajax hyper cube needs its hp trippled and its ability to stop AOEs from passing through to exist. artillery? shouldnt the globe stop that? nope, just passes through. thing number 10: most higher quality modules are just bad. a blue mod offers more benefit and have no penalty. why take a purple? even if the purple has a second benefit, it usually doesnt scale up at all.

Im sorry, but i find it insane and funny AF that people are distasted with the fact that it takes 1h to level a character, and smile at the games that allow leveling to happen in minutes. Your playing the game to have fun and upgrade your guy. your not speed running the game so that your bored and have no care for it anymore after a Saturday. If i gave you an account that has everything and has a gun that can 1 tap everyone in game, you probably would log out and never play or go back to your normal account. People need to understand it takes time to get stuff, this game is in it for the long run like WOW and Destiny. Just play, have fun, do diff missions and don't worry about grinding 1 item for 40h straight. you got many ways to obtain the same item, just play and you will get at some point.

In Warframe for 1000 plats you will buy 50 potatos. In TFD for the price of 1000 plats you will get only 2 potatos. So making genarlizations like yours is misleading. It all depends on what you want to buy for ingame currency. And in Warframe you can get plat much cheaper with discounts which are quite regular. We will see how big discounts, and if any, will TFD give to players.

Have you actually bought the paint or going off what other people have said? Because I bought the paints and they aren't 1 time use. Once you apply it, it can only be used on that skin, but a single paint can be applied to all 4 slots as much as you like. It is actually pretty generous compared to other games.

I agree with the energy activater. The 3% to get the blueprint. Ive done the mission about 40 times and im over it. My biggest gripe is i purchased the biggest pack of caliber not to reveive it. So many other player are having the same issue. Their customer support it appalling to say the least. Totally agree with much of what you said, especially the egregious coloring of your descendants and weapons. The fact that you have to pay 25 caliber every time you want to use that specific color is absolutely stupid. It should be an unlock and you can apply it as often as you want to as many items as you want. And the unlocks should be Journal rewards or pay with caliber. I'm not sorry for this opinion, 1 hour to max the level of something after reset is perfectly fine. 2 minutes or 30 seconds is pointless, why bother having it reset at all at that point. Your asking for the game to have less play time by shortening the leveling to 2 minutes. There should be some amount of time investment to progression.

Regarding xp, to be fair warframe is at the point where there's almost 60 characters to level and play. This game only has 15. Granted most people don't play every single warframe but until we get more descendants I'm not to worried about xp gain. The grind and drop chances and monetization however are a problem. I've stopped playing games for less but I'm still willing to give this a go for a bit
