We know each others strengths and weaknesses, we balance each other out and talk about everything! Our favorite thing is car rides too. We’ll literally just load the kids up around naptime so they’ll nap and we can talk. We’ve been together almost 9 years and we’ve only gotten stronger. Oh my goodness. You remind me so much of my hubby and me...just flip the numbers -we celebrated our 41st Anniversary in September. People often ask how our marriage works so well. My answer is always be kind to each other even when no-one is watching. It's kind of what you said Jared...serve each other. Our kids are grown and gone and it's just the two of us in our big house, but we enjoy each other so much and are always doing for the other...mostly small things but they mean a lot in the long run. Just a couple examples of the little things - my hubby works from home and wants a drink by his side at all times, so every day I make him a pot of green tea even though I hate tea and don't drink it, but he appreciates that at any time he can go into the kitchen and their will be tea for him. He takes my car on errands and will often fill the gas tank so I don't have to...little things for sure, but they add up. So happy you guys are back as I've really missed you and I can't wait to see your adorable kids again. I'm very sad and sorry for what your family has endured the past few months.

My husband and I have been married almost five years. We have gone though so much in those years we have had miscarriages we lost a child and I wouldn't have survived without him. Congratulations on 14 years! Lol though! Wait until you are celebrating your 40th and 41st anniversary and you are looking at each other going, “how is that even possible?” It has gone by in a blink of an eye! Even with some pretty major medical issues thrown in. However, if you are married to the right person, that is the way it is suppose to be. I always say that, it doesn’t seem possible that we could have been married this long, yet at the same time, it’s like we haven’t known anything else. Again congratulations!

I enjoyed the podcast so I hate to criticize but the audio has some issues.. Some parts are so quiet that I had to crank the volume & then there are spots where it "corrects" and then my volume cranked becomes deafening.... You turn it down & it gets quiet again! LOL Heather xo
