hello Sir , I have a question regarding the study permit expiry . So my studies got completed on 21 april and my study permit is expiring on april 30 th .In the Ircc site it is written that you have 90 days after you studies get completed. So that means I still have 90 days left ryt ? I was originally may intake but due to deferment the study permit date came early . In this case what is the best solution ?

Hello, if your study permit expires and after that you apply for your PGWP, you will be required to pay Restoration fees and moreover you will not be able to work till you receive your permit. 90 Days time period is if your study permit was valid and after 90 days you will lose your status if PGWP not applied. So should apply the PGWP immediately to avoid going out of status and then not being able to work for the processing time of your work permit. I got admission for another program in winter intake and my program starts only in January 9th. I have 168 days gap in between these two programme. Hello, students are not allowed to take a gap of more than 150 days or your study permit becomes invalid. Either you must resume studies within 150 days or must leave Canada and should return before the start of studies at new institution. Also would recommend to apply for study permit extension once you have paid the tuition fees for your next program and should be done before the expiry of your current study permit. Incase you plan to leave Canada and return before the start of studies, you must have a valid Visa stamp to enter Canada. Thanks

Hello, If you are continuing studies, then that is fine, make sure to make LOA, Enrolment letter and tuition fees payment receipt while travelling. If you will apply for PGWP then must apply now within 90 days of your study completion or else your study permit will be considered as invalid. Thanks

But she was not able to pass it. Now, currently do not have any enrolment letter. And traveling to india for 2 weeks and comming back on 8th august. The TRV is ending on 30th september. We are planing to take course once ahe is back from india. Should I consider applying for Tourist visa ?

@@anmolsingh-i8p Applicant should take Sept intake as cannot have gap of more than 150 days, if study permit valid, TRV is not required for returning, make sure visa stamp (Counterfoil) on the passport is valid as well. Though applicant can be questioned on returning for her intent of studying, and for that having LOA and deposit receipt will be helpful. Thanks

Hello, you can change your program to 1 year, after successful completion of 1st program, you can have a break of 4 months before starting another 1 year program and during that break you can work fulltime (Make sure to have a valid study permit or must have applied for it's extension before the study permit expiry) Thanks

Hello sir I got my visa for sept intake (toronto college) I am in India right now I want to change my course as well as college I will reach canada on 13 August But before reaching canada I want to pay my fees of another college(Winnipeg) for same intake so that I can reserve my seat But I will ask my toronto college for withdrawal after reaching canada But as per ircc we can’t change our college from India I will change my DLI after reaching there after applying for withdrawal from Toronto college 1@ Is is possible? 2@ Immigration officer will ask me any ques regarding this or not at airport?
